Just curious if other people have any sage advice of how to cope with the everyday struggle of dealing with a jerk of an X in a work/social situation.

Everytime my partner is on night shifts and i sleep alone i have heart breaking dreams of him cheating on me, making out with other girls and telling me he doesn't love me anymore. I wake up crying my eyes out. It must be because it's what i fear the most. I know it won't happen because we are truely deeply in love with each other but it's horrible and depressing. Does anyone else have these experiences? Share them please. Thanx

My boyfriend of 2-1/2 years has been divorced for over 10 years. He takes care of everything for his ex-wife (she has a boyfriend that's 10 years younger than her) and she calls him for advice about everything. They have 3 teenage girls. He let her move in with him when her apartment lease expired and lied to me about it. He then helped her look for a house and scheduled all the arrangements for her to buy it. He took me to the mountains and scheduled for his "family" to go to the mountains the same weekend. At his father's funeral, she sat on the front row with the family. When he had too much to drink one night, he told me he loved her, that all her past boyfriends were stupid and that he had been having relations with her. He then denied that he said it and said he always says stupid stuff while drinking. I told him I thought they had a "have your cake and eat it too" relationship. I'm thinking I should see the handwriting on the wall?

My ex husband is the father of two of my children, we were married and he cheated the whole time. When I found out I made him leave. Now 4 years later, he is a dead beat, he gets visitation 2 days a week but will NOT pay a dime of his child support and lives in a big nice house and eats at restaurants all the time and so forth, he lives it up. For the past several years I had let him claim one of my daughters with his income tax trying to be fair. Now I have said I'm claiming them this year because I and my husband are raising them and he and his wife are mad. He didn't even help me with school stuff or clothes for them or anything, should I allow him to claim one anyway?

My sister lives down in Arkansas and has several pet horses. She has recently confided in me that she has been romantically involved with one of the horses and is strongly considering marrying him. She even said that the horse got down on his knees and proposed in a very romantic way. Is it legal in Arkansas to marry your horse or would she have to become pregnant first in order for it to be legal?? Help please I need your advice!!!

divorce than if one of the partys is severly brain damaged where there is no other choice but to live out their life in a "home",,where he can get the medical care...but he doesn't know what is going on???? I have a hard time understanding that...because the brain damage person does not know what is going on and the other spouse was forced to leave FOR A GOOD REASON;...IT IS BETTER THAN THE TWO regular people getting a divorce cuz they just could not get along!!! Do you agree NO ONE SHOULD BE FORCED TO LIVE WITH A SEVERLY BRAIN DAMAGED SPOUSE...that would be hell!!! ( but some people think ..."You should stay"...but notice their husband is NOT brain damaged?........so who are they to judge????Plus it is none of their business anyway...Plus i have gone through this horrific episode with my girlfriend...and i am a girl...she was able to obtain an annulment, because of his condition...

We started out looking for a bigger TV for the bedroom. We went to a couple of places and all of a sudden my husband has it in his head that we should get a bigger TV for the living room instead and move the entire TV and stand into the bedroom. It went from spending $300-$400 to practically $2000. We already have a big TV in the living room so my feelings is we don't need one. But he's in there, watching TV and kind of sulking (not bad, he just really wants it) because I am against the new TV for the living room. Should I just give in and let him spend $2000 that we really don't have on a TV that we definitely don't need? Or should I hold my ground and push for just a less expensive, MUCH less expensive, TV for the bedroom?

Ok--Over the last several months my husband has been asking for a mff threesome..I said no as I believe marriage is between two people. (we have been married for 18 years) He still talks about it often and especially with bedroom talk. He says he really wants to watch me and other female and more than that he wants me to watch him f*** someone else (as he puts it) and that he would love to do it with someone else. So I finally asked him one night - if I let that happen what do I get out of it? - just to see his reaction. He let me know that he couldn't handle me being with another guy - but still thinks it's different and ok for him to want to be with someone else. I can't understand this? He says he loves me very much and he has too much respect for me so he "probably" would never go through with it. Do all men go through this??? If he really loved me, would he want to f*** someone else (whether I was there or not?) Has anyone else gone through this?

I am divorced from my 2nd husband, and I do not want to keep his last name. Actually, I don't even want to return to either my maiden name or the last name of my first husband. I'd like to have a whole new last name !! How does one go about doing that? Do I need an attorney? Is it going to be amazingly expensive?

Recently read my wife's journal...not a habit of mine...just messing around one day. Couple month's later, I told her about it in passing. She became extremely upset. She works out of town...before she left this latest time she left her wedding ring on the counter with a note saying that the marriage had to be re-evaluated. I know I screwed up...but this response seems so extreme at first light. Then I put myself in her shoes...I can understand trust was violated. I can understand that a spouse has no right to intrude on the other's private thoughts/dreams. I LOVE MY WIFE. I WANT HER BACK. I have apologized, but those words fall on death ears when trust has been violated. Help!

I am ok with being friends with benefits, and I have this one guy friend who I hang out with for that. Now this guy seems to say something to me everyday through email whether it's hello or he just wanted to see how my day was going. I asked my girlfriend why does he send me an email every day and she said maybe because he is trying to be my friend because if you don't have the friends part then you end up looking like a hoe because all you will have is just the benefits part. I thought that was the way it was suppose to be since this is a new phase I am going through and really enjoy. I like the no strings attached that's why I never really said anything to him until it was time to hang out again. She said I need to stop taking a guys approach to this, and ask this guy if he would like to catch a movie or go out to eat or something so we can get a better feel for each other even if we pay for ourselves when we do go out. My question is, is that really what friends with benefits do?
