My husband has not touched me in 2 weeks and it makes no sense!! Our sex life has always been bad, but now it's worse! When I ask him why, he says, "sex is not the most important thing". And now it's the playoffs for the Mets, so I guess I won't be having sex for another week or more! What is wrong with him? We don't fight often and it's not like I am disgusting either, so I'm just not sure what his issue could be...any ideas?

I will give details, and bellow post the email I would like people to read and help me understanding what it could mean. We were in a nice relationship and I left her because she seemed made efforts treating me bad to leave her, I tried to make it work, I couldn't, I left. Later I tried to come back and see if we can work things out, she didn't want us to be together. All she said is that she was enjoying her single-life with her friends and nights out and it was doing great, also doing things she wouldn't be able to do if she was in a relationship. I asked if she was letting me go, said that I am not available, are you taking me?, no, I am not taking you. I tried everything to be back with her for a while, and I couldn't. Until I asked for a final decision, said "no", I contacted her to see if she was happy with that decision, she said yes, to please not to contact her. That if in 6 months she changes her mind, she will try to find me, and if I am with someone, it was her problem.

I don't love him anymore he is very controlling and I can't seem to do anything right for him no matter what I do. Here's the thing. I met this guy and have been talking to him on the phone only. Never met him in person. When I talk to this guy he understands everything I am going through and helps me in everyway he can. I never could talk to my husband the way I talk to him it seems weird to me. so my question is am I wrong for talking to him all the time or is it maybe fate that we met eachother? I tell him everything I don't have to lie about anything. he knows the whole truth about what is going on with me and he still talks to me every day. I am actully happy I have him right now is this bad or not I can't figure it out please help me

After 25 years of marriage she had a long distance affair, spent less than 28 days in person with this guy before they got married less than a month after the divorce was final and less than 9 months after first starting this reationship. In addition, she moved 2500 miles to be with him leaving her teenaged daughters, job and friends behind. Will this work?

my husband and I have been together for 9 years. Over the last year our relationship has been a little 'rocky'. He has been waiting for me to ask him to move back in and just as I was at that point he dropped the bomshell that he couldn't be hurt anymore and just wanted us to be very special friends. Our relationship has always been based on being good friends but our intimate relationship was also very good.

He tells me that he still loves me and finds me both physically and sexually attractive. I have tried talking to him about where it went wrong and my lack of communicaiton with him and showing not showing him how much I loved and cared for him but he has said that he want change his mind and just wants us to be friends as there is no 'spark' yet he still finds me attractive!

I am at a loss to know what to do and it is hurting very much.

Any advice welcome!

My husband is 13 years younger than me. We have been married 18 years and have a daughter together who is 16. Last year I caught him cheating. He told me it was an error of judgement, shouldn't have done it etc. but that he would leave home because he felt suffocated by marriage, that I was possessive, he often wondered why he wished he wasn't married, he had never owned anything in his own right, that I challenged him for leadership. After 8 months he moved out to his own place, but now is back every weekend, is good to me, takes me out, is a lot calmer to deal with. If he wants his freedom, why does he make plans for our future? He makes it sound like its temporary, but when I say that if by the new year nothing is sorted out then we should divorce and separate our assets, he gets upset and says he will not be given ultimatums as he is taking each day as it comes. He wants to become a better person and sort himself out but can only do it if he is away. I don't know what to believe.

It is clear that the models of love from the last century are not keeping up with society as a whole, i.e. gay marriage, divorce, single parents, etc. In this century, is it ok for marrieds to have a boyfriend or girlfriend (either platonic or romantic)? Why or why not?

ok a woman just left her spouse with a 2wk old infant. And never kept in contact with them. She never called to see how her baby was doing or anything.. The spouse is struggling to do all he can for the baby and caring for the baby and just being father and mother to the child. The woman is a LT police officer and refuse to take care of her responsibility of the baby... So the father; file for child support. The court ruled that the mother pay child support and make sure that the child is covered 100% medically. Now; the mother has NEVER bothered to call the father; NOW she calls right after court and says she wants a divorce and JOINT custody of the child who is now 3yrs old.. The father says he doesn't feel comfortable with that but is willing to compromise with visitations, but the mother refuses and says she is entitled to JOINT CUSTODY!!! And she states that she is prepared to fight him in court for the joint.. Do you think a JUDGE will grant her joint custody after abandonment?

This is a good one?
Y is it that if u have female friends, ur wife assume that ur having affair, just because she didn't know her. I have guy friends she don't know about, maybe I'm having an affair with them too. Then when u tell her ur not. Then she say u want too that's way I'm her friend. Now she say she want a divorce, for me having a friend. I told her if it make her that upset I wont talk to her anymore, It's not like we talked everyday. But she insist that I cheated, she say emotional, but it wasn't. the chick was just someone to talk too, she knew nothing about me, or my family. I was upset with my wife when I meet her, but that was it . I told her I was married, and we just became cool. I mean we don't hang out or anything, just hi & bye every now and then. So what is happening? Should I stop trying

Why is it that our husbands who are trained to pay attention to everything going on around them can't pay attention to what is going on around them at home? My husband has completely gone MIA when it comes to things at home, including our 9 month old, leaving me to be 99% responsible to take care of things around the house. Whenever I confront him he says that he will start helping more, and that last for about a day, and then is it right back to the way things were. We have lived in our house for 2 years, and he still looks for things like we just moved in yesterday and when he does find them, can't be bothered to pick up after himself. Any suggestions, please?

I have been with my partner for 10 years we have 3 children.
My problem is I think he is a compulsive liar he has lost three jobs and now has a really good job but my friend (who works with him)
keeps telling me things he is saying, for example I beat him and make him do all the housework.
I'm worried for him as it's obvious he has some sort of problem but I can't deal with it if he loses yet another job especially so close to christmas.
He is also occasionally violent and aggressive towards me what can I do ?
I know you will all say leave but I have nowhere to go a daughter with special needs who needs to stay at the school she is in and I have no means of supporting myself.
Please help.

Ok I hope I can make this fit! I was just married 4 weeks ago and im 13 wks preg. A silly argument started with an old friend and I. It became a stressful & frusturating situation. My husband continued to go to her and her husbands house even tho i wasnt welcome. I became resentful to him for not "taking my side" Last night he said if he had to choose he would not give them up. Altho I didnt make him chose. My friend and I worked out everything last night but I am still resentful towards my husband now that I know he would have chosen them over me. I see this as a sign of how the future may be. But I dont know, I know he wants to just forget about it and go on but I am not letting go of this easily. Just wanted to get some outside advice, I realize this may sound silly to you all and maybe it is, Im just looking for some outside opinions. No i am not going to base my marriage on anything anyone says on here. So please save the rude comments.

is entitled to half of Paul McCartneys fortune?

Even assuming that every allegation that she has made about him is true, should she really be awarded 50% of a fortune made almost entirely before they met and were married?

I don't mean legally, I mean morally?

She went out with some friends and came home at 3:30 in the morning. She said she ran into a guy she used to go to school with and went over to his house for awhile. She said she was trying to hook him up with her sister. She came home and actually told me about that without holding anything back. A couple weeks down the road things feel weird between us so I wonder if she's been cheating and check her phone to see who she's been calling. I see a number and a name on there that I didn't recognize so I confronted her about it. She got mad at me for looking in her phone and I got mad at her for not being honest and omitting him from her "Who have you talked to lately?" List that I had asked her multiple times. Things haven't been wonderful in the marriage lately anyways, but should I be upset about her not mentioning this guy or not?

I don't feel like I can trust my wife anymore. She's keeping secrets from me and not being honest. She rarely talks to me, and usually when she does we end up fighting. She won't hug me or touch me. If I make the first move she might let me hug her but it feels cold and distant. We haven't tried counseling yet, but it's been brought up. I just don't see how counseling would help enough at this point. I waver between wanting to try and make things work and just giving up and throwing in the towel. How do I know when it's time to cut my losses and tell her I want a divorce?

I have been dating my boyfriend for a year, and we're both Christians in college who have prayed daily about whether our relationship is God's will for us. My pastor told me yesterday to pray to God "Is he the one I'm supposed to marry?" in those exact words. Pastor said that if I get an answer, great. If not, then no problem either. That makes me really scared. What kind of answer am I supposed to expect-- what kind of conviction if the answer is "no"?? What do I even look for? Please help us... Thanks. And for the ones who like to answer "just marry him!"... it's really not that simple... :-( We want to do God's will.
