Why do women want equal rights when it is so clear that men are far more superior than they are and have atleast 3 times bigger brains. Why can't women just be quiet, cook, clean, and make babies?

My husband (2 months) has a daughter and we live an 1 1/2 hours away from her. We pick her up every other weekend. We've discussed at times would life be easier if we lived closer to her because her mother hates the fact that he moved so far away.

I am not comfortable with that because even though he broke up with his child's mother years ago, they still continued to have sexual relations because he said it was the only way he felt he could control things at the time and keep her from taking his daughter away from him.

He is upset that I would be nervous about him doing that again with her if we moved near her - that he thought I had more confidence in him than that. He even had sex with her like 5 weeks before dating me over a year and half ago. We started dating for a year and got married this past summer. As a woman, would you feel insecure or uncomfortable about living near the child's mother if your husband had on and off relations with her previously?

so wake up to go to work and find him in the kitchen on the phone in which he quickly hangs up the phone,I asked who it wa and he said his mate and I said prove it and he ran off,so I chased him round the house for like half an hour trying to get the phone of him and finally succeed to find it was some woman called amanda,a work colleague .Thing is,is that he hasn`t been coming to bed until early hours for over a month now and all of a sudden showing a keen interest in walking the dogs,so he calims that she is just a friend but I say, well if she just a friend then she won`t mind phoning me now and confiming this, and she won`t mind talking to you when I am around,or at normal hours of the day and night. so he claims she just a friend and I claim he is full of crap and thanks for all replies, you just confirm what i already believed. He might of not done anything yet but he was thinking and planning on it ,especially as his work has two away days at a hotel. thankyou

I wear a size 7 ring and I think that my boyfriend thinks that I wear a 7 1/2. If he gets this 7 1/2 ring for me, can I take it to the jewlers to be brought down to a 7? If so, is this expensive and how long does it take the jewlers to do this?

Have you cheated on your husband/wife during your relationship, married or not?

There is no "legal separation" in my state. You are either married, divorced or widowed.
He won't file for divorce.
I don't want to get married again so I am in no hurry to do anything "legal."
The lawyer said that it is cheaper if he files and I answer. I told my husband that he could go ahead and file, the kids and I will be fine.
He is effectively paying support now. He pays tuition for the kids, the mortgage for where I am living and the utility bills, so support payments is not the issue.
Thanks.

Her mom my former partner has been cheating on me all the time, even at one time talks about her mesing around with guys met my family. But I still tried to hold on her and the kid, because I love my kid and thats the onlychild I have. But for her not understanding that she felt she was smart and still continued messing around. So I dicided to just keep a cold shoulder not caring about she does or say. Realizing that she's lost grounds she started using the kid against me by allowing her to do things that she was not allowed to do. Potraying me as a bad dad who's strict. She one day took the kid and left the house with out informing me about where they were for about three weeks. After I found them I tried to talk to her to bring the kid back but she refused as she's got useless people like her who are advicing her and want to live a free life where no one will control. And now I find out that the kid is completely out of controle. What can I do in this case?

You may be in love with one person that makes you feel safe and whom you respect and cherish. On the other spectrum, this other person makes you think of them constantly, you can't hardly wait to be with them again!!!

I am not and would never get pregnant with a boyfriend, but I wonder about his reaction, it's just interesting to play with other people.
Have anybody done that and what was your man reaction?

My husband and I have been married for almost three years. We have ana 19 mo. old dau. When I was pregnant with her, he began going out to the bar and getting drunk. He would also get drunk at social functions. This and a bad temper has led to my cat getting shot and a hole punched in our wall. He can be the sweetest husband and dad, and he hasn't been awful in about 3 mos. He stilll has 4-6 beers a night. I have put in my 2 weeks and made arrangements to move 3 hrs away. I feel like a bad wife and an abandoner. Any suggestions?

My husband and I have been together for 2 1/2 yrs. We've almost seperated more times than I can count. And I keep hoping that something will change. Over all he is a great guy. He's not abusive, doesn't yell, doesn't hit, throw things, nothing like that. He does get up and go to work every day. He joined the army to take care of his children. But it seems to me that he feels his duty has ended there. I have put up with a great deal because I know he was raised with a family that were on drugs, he was alone, raised himself for the most part. No one to trust. I know he has not allowed himself to completely open himself up to this marriage or this family and really love me or the kids. He has been forced since a very younge age to count on his computer and now the machines at work. They won't let him down and if they break he can fix them no problem. Since he mom has cleaned herself up a few years ago, she started spoiling him, and that has become a serious problem.

Last night my son asked me if I was dating anyone, I'm not so I told him that. He said when you do I want to know. I have never lied to my kids before, they have always known that I would tell them at least as much as I thought they should know about any given situation. The thing here is, I have no intention of letting my kids meet anyone until I know there is something there. I don't want to lie to him and I don't want to tell him every time I go out with some guy who probably will end up being nothing at all...my son is very protective and can't stand the idea that I might date anyone. How do I get around lying when he asks?
