I've been married for three years now, and my wife dose little to help me around the house. I do 90% of the cleaning, fix dinner five nights a week, work 10 hour days and do all the yard work. She has always been a lazy person, but promised me she would change after we seperated four years ago. I manage to get about 4 hours sleep a night, and before I go to bed i give my son a bath. We've been fighting for the last couple of years, and every time she make me feel as though it's my fault. I care about her, but a few months ago I found myself falling asleep behined the wheel while sitting at an intersection. I'm tired all time. She works, but when shes home she always sleeps. I want to be married, but i dont feel the love i once felt for her.

Ok...here's the deal. My little sister has been with this guys for a year. He preposed to her and gave her a $3000 engagement ring. Out of NO WHERE he decided that his 'feelings' had changed. Now mind you, they WEREN'T even having problems and he just SPRUNG this on her. She is shocked and heartbroken. Well, to top it all off, HE ASKED FOR THE RING BACK!!! Should she give it to him??????

If you sign a business contract....your are saying that you will honour and fullfil the obligation that you have made. If you don't, consequences are spelled out to compensate the other party hurt by you breaking the contract.

Is marriage like a contract? In a marriage, if you agree to do something and don't hold up your end of the deal...like marry and then want a divorce.....shouldn't your partner be compensated?

Would this make people think more seriously about marriage before doing it, try harder to make it work and pick better life partners?

I'd like to hear what you think.

For the first time in my life, I have experienced an "extended love". Not only loving this person, but being actually head-over heels in love. This has been going strong for all of six months.

Is there anyone out there that still feels this way about their partner over an extended period of time? I would hate to NOT fell this way anymore.

My sister called at 3:15AM b/c my nephew (age 8) was crying from missing my mom (she lives with us).So the heck what! I got very upset b/c I can't think of anybody else she would have disrespected like that."Do you know what time it is",I said and continued to tell her off.She did apologize but asked me was our mother awake.OF COURSE I HUNG UP ON HER!The next day she called and asked me to extend her apologies to my husband (who agreed that it was disrespectful)I told her I would and I did. Later on she called back, got my husband on the phone and apologized.Damn!Shouldn't she have left it alone? Here's the thing-He got on the phone and all he said was,"huh,oh yeah,oh that's ok, don't worry about it" I felt like I was just standing out in left field all by myself. As if he was saying,"don't worry, she's mad but I'm not" I got so mad! In return,I got her back on the phone and asked her why she had to call back. He starts yelling while she's on the phone and I hit him in the face with phone

My fiance is such a know it all. Nearly everything I state or have an opinion about he cuts down, questions or says it isn't so. It's getting to the point where I am afraid to talk about anything more than just the weather. Even when I try to tell him how I'm feeling about "us", if I'm feeling insecure or just want to be reassured, he jumps down my throat and accuses me of being "so negative all the time" and tells me I'm driving him crazy. All of this is wearing me down so much, but I am so afraid to address it as I feel as though I will never find anyone else. I know all of this sounds so pathetic and that I probably need to grow some balls, but it's hard to actually do. We've been looking at houses together to buy and even with that I don't have voice - it's like the decisions are all his to make. How do I deal with this in a constructive kind of way?

He says it is me but I say it is him. He treats me really bad emotionally and mentally. I can't even act like myself, I have to act like he wants me to. I am tired of being treated this way but I don't want to lose him because I still love him. I just want him to treat me better. Should I go along with the seperation idea or what?

.....how did you learn your spouse was cheating? I'm amazed at the number of people here who are aware of their spouses being (or having been) unfaithful. I've never cheated, but if I were to do so, I would think I'd take every precaution humanly possible to be certain no one find out. Are these cheating spouses just very reckless?

He drinks almost every day until the point that he is drunk, starts exhibiting distructive behavior (tore the baby's swing apart for no reason), accuses you of cheating when you have never done so, curses at you and yells and screams at you to get out and leave, and then the next day when you have left begs you to take him back and tells you over and over that he is sorry and that he wants to change, oh and by the way a baby is involved in it, what is your opinion?

I checked his email and then had it also cc another addy. Sure enough I caught him trying to hit on a co worker. His response was that 'he doesn't know why he does it but if it hadn't been her it would have been someone else" This is after being together for years, having dreams and plans for our future, and delibertly conceiving a child. I finally left him but now Im single and pregnant. A friend has turned him online dating and he paid for a membership and sent mesages to over 500 hundred women in the past month. !!! & he only is a newbie! My best friend, now roomate (whos bf -ex- recently left after also cheating) and I, as a joke posted an 'ad' on the site - his dream girl, thinking it would be funny to send him a message. We laughed and set up the account but went to bed. The next day he already messaged 'her'. Intruiged by the ease of his bite, we offered him a email addy- and next thing she has 18 messages.

after reading many of these divorce stories doenst it seem to appear that all of the ladies on here ALWAYS blame the man for the failure of the relationship?? come on girls admit that it was part your fault. and how many of you had a good man, but treated him like crap, refused to give him affection(a womans secret weapon) or even cheated on him??? why wont you women admit that you drove your man to another womans arms by being a nag or by taking him for granted?? patiently waiting to exhale!!!!!!
