I really need some love, a email or something romantic, how do I tell him without putting more stress on him because I know being in Iraq is stressful enough.

I am sure the distance is an issue for both of you. How about sending a little affection his way first? A woman can't prod a man into a SINCERE expression of affection. A loving husband would return your affections without prompting. I'm sure he misses you too, and will tell you so in the following communications. Keep your focus on your mutual future plans, rather than your current distance. Give him something pleasant to plan for in his future. Your loneliness will seem petty to him right now under the circumstances.

Sharon,

Tell him in a forceful way. The problem with a lot of women is they do not COMMUNICATE well enough for a man. We sometimes need to be hit with a frying pan to get the idea through our thick skulls (thank God we have em').

Women are great at telling people their feelings except to the person they love and need! Remind him! BE SELFISH!! He is yours and the marriage vow means you are his number one priority!! My dad made sure my mom knew that so, you tell your husband the same thing. My dad passed away 4 years ago and his teachings have been a life saver.

Just write to him and tell him. My husband was in Iraq working too, for 15 months. We kept in touch on the phone and through e-mails.

Instead of waiting for this from him, why don't u send him an email, card, or package with a note, telling him how u feel. I'm sure he's feeling the same way.

Simple, buy yourself a bouquet of flowers, email him and thank him for giving your day a lift and be thankful he is still alive. Tell him you will "surprise" yourself on ocassion, for him and he can tell you how much he appreciates your taking care of yourself for him, when he comes home. Then pray every night for his safety and Thank God for such a man in your life. Cherish him.

Just tell him that you miss him and wish he would call or email you more often. Tell him it makes your day to know that he is alright and you just love hearing from him. Start emailing him with sexy notes and see if he responds back.

I hate you. How can you be so selfish. I'll admit I'm a prick but even I have my limits when people are in a combat area.

Be honest. Just tell him exactly what you feel. Be open. How will he know if you will not speak up?
