Marriage & Divorce - 6 September 2006

I'm 23 and been with a guy for 5 years. We were planning to marry but then our families got in the way. He would put his family first and broke some promises he made to me... I'm guilty of having an interferring family as well, but then cut my apron strings. He has not done this and probably never will.

Anyway, give me some ideas, things to do, ways of thinking to get over this tough hill in my life.

her biological dad has 1 day a week visiting at the moment till she goes to school but me and my husband want to move over to ireland. we are currently living in birmingham about half an hour away from her dad. i do not have issues with her seeing him but we have good work opportunities over there and she would have a better life over there. if anyone has any legal knowlege i would be very gratefull as i have spoken to citisens advice and they dont really know!!!!

he asked me to marry him in may. I said yes. Why, not sure. I don't want to get married again so soon, expecially not to him. Now he has got me where he wants me. Ingaged, and we are in a rent to own type of lease together on a house. how long before he leaves me? will he? I am afraid to drive in a passanger seat on ahighway. When it's under 55mph I am fine but when it gets over I start freaking out yelling a driver to slow down all the time. I am very nervous on the road. It's very inconvenient and annoying.

My ex husband keeps sending me nasty emails, and refuses to let me see my kids... whom I have never hurt.. I just left him so he thinks that being nasty to me I will come back... thing is I am in a great relationship now but my family keeps intefering... any suggestions?

He threw all my stuff out and won't let me in
He yells at me whenever he wants
He broke my camara and cellphone, flush all my cosmetics down the toilet and robbed my laptop.
He emailed my professor, making up rumors about me
He called my office and threaten to ruin my life
He deleted ramdom friends on my msn list
He woke me up at 3:00am and let me show him my cellphone list, and called every one to see if they are guys or girls
He forced me to log on my email and he spread rumors to my friends
He cursed me all the bad names u can ever think of
He kept calling me while I was on business trip and sent me 120 msg in an afternoon.
He threatened that if I break up with him he will kill me.



I hate this relationship so much and I can't break up with him.What should I do?

Have been divorced for six years, alone for four and in a relationship for the past two years.
My ex-husband heard via someone that I'm in a relationship and all hell has broken loose!
I get phone calls - txt messages - letters. He comes to the house, hangs around where I work.
I spoke to the police but was told he's not being rude, aggressive or nasty. So...nothing that they can do.
I can't afford a civil case.
We have no children, he's been on his own since relationship ended.

I love my bf with all my heart and i know he is the one. we been dating now for about 2 years How do i get him to commit to me without being pushy? We talked about it before and we always get into huge fights.He gave me a ring which i am not wearing co's he did not ask me to marry him.So i told him u should ask me and get on your knees and he told me he wont get on his knees for no one that really hurt me.(that was about 7 months ago)
What am i suppose to do ?Hes been married before and this would be my first. I dont want to scare him off.And i think i am doing just that..and now i just say nothing about it.But its killing me inside that the person that i love so much wont even go on his knees to me should that be a sign that hes not really that into me he tells me cares for me but care and love a person is different is it???
