I love my bf with all my heart and i know he is the one. we been dating now for about 2 years How do i get him to commit to me without being pushy? We talked about it before and we always get into huge fights. He gave me a ring which i am not wearing co's he did not ask me to marry him.So i told him u should ask me and get on your knees and he told me he wont get on his knees for no one that really hurt me.(that was about 7 months ago)
What am i suppose to do ?Hes been married before and this would be my first. I dont want to scare him off.And i think i am doing just that..and now i just say nothing about it.But its killing me inside that the person that i love so much wont even go on his knees to me should that be a sign that hes not really that into me he tells me cares for me but care and love a person is different is it???
Thank for the advise

He doesn't need to go on his knee to propose. That is just tradition. he can be as original as he wants as long as he asks. Honestly, if he really loved you and really wanted to be with you, then he would propose. If he doesn't want to get married you might want to rethink about being with him because I am sure you want a family.

well girls who acts like jeolous bitches dont get the guys. if they have a boyfriend and he stays with them for years, well the guy is a bit of a loser no matter how hot he looks or acts. but in general they do eventually lose the boys. for starters stop saying, is it me?? because that is a neg attitude and dont want to sound all mary poppins but why bother even saying that. re-adjust the opinion of yourself. if someone doesnt like me and i liked them i move on. you dont really know why that person has not responded to you. it might be they are messed up and you dont even know it. the list of possibilities are endless. so dont waste energy wondering why. i can understand why you feel hurt after a four year relationship but to be honest a relationship started at such an early age often ends because one of both people change so much through that part of their life, as they enter their 20s. it is good for you anyway. there are so many people to meet, why be with someone your whole life you met as a teen. it could be you project the energy of someone who wants commitment too much. keep an open mind. have fun and dont worry!

once bitten twice shy! he's already been there ,married once is enough.when you have to go through a divorce all the fighting, money it cost, it's only a piece of paper you don't need that piece of paper to know someone loves you. living together is the same as marriage. but easier to leave.if it comes to that.marriage changes people, some think they own the other person or you have that ring so you can't/won't leave me. be thankful of what you have. yes, care and love are different ,

well being that he was married once before,,you shouldnt expect him to want to jump into another marrige until hes ready. if you love him then give him all the time he needs. he doesnt want to make that mistake again of getting divorced and you should respect that. Just because he hasnt proposed to you does not mean that he loves you any less. He just wants to make sure that hes doing the right thing. i would be very leary if i had one divorce already...personally i might never get married again either. just love him and someday he might get down on his knee. dont be pushy or you will scare him out of the relationship.

If you haven't figured it out yet, you can't "get" a guy to do anything. Take a break and let him come to you. A relationship is no good if one of the two in it is not ready to take the next step.

he has to want to commit you can't MAKE him commit it has to be in him you can't commit yourself to anybody because they want you to that's called tolerance and that can run out you commit yourself because that's your desire for your self and the other person benefits from that.

GOOD LUCK

you cant get anyone to commit to you--it has to be their choice-you know that...if hes not willing to marry you and really wanna be married its time to let go and find someone with the same intentions..or just be happy with what you have now...hes not getting on his knees cause hes not going to make a promise he cant keep--that should be a sign for you

he sounds really self-absorbed and doesn't sound like he "really" loves you. If he really loved you he would do something as little as going down on his knees. He's obviously not that into you. You either have to just accept him for how he is or move on. There are plenty of men out there who will love you and you won't have to beg them for their love.

The fact that he was married proves he had made some mistakes and he is avoiding repeating them. I think you should try and understand that he is taking his time OR do you want to be another mistake.

you cant get him to commit to you, it's not your choice.THE BOTTOM LINE IS YOU CAN TELL HIM HOW YOU FEEL AND IF HE DECIDES NOT TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT IN CONSIDERATION OF YOUR FEELINGS THEN YOU HAVE TO TAKE FOR WHAT IT IS. you cant push anybody to do anything they dont want to, in the end you have to consider WHOSE FEELINGS COMES FIRST YOURS OR HIS.then think about if he places your feelings over his!!!
