This isn't about me because I am married and my wife and I are planning to have a baby. I am happy about it.

But, what about men or women who are given ultimatums about children?

If your spouse says this, do you divorce him or her:

If you do not give me a child now, then I will leave you.

What if you agreed before marriage to have 1 child and one spouse wants more?

What if you agreed to have no children and then later your spouse wants a baby?

What should a married couple do when they face something like this?

We always made very passionate love, Slow and easy. Now after 11 years of marriage she wants me to tie her up, spank her, share her with other men (our neighbor), let our dog lick her, and take pictures to post on the internet!
What should I do?

On Valentine's Day this year, I woke up with a plan to be romantic to my wife. I had it all figured out. My daughter was to be with the grandparents and me and my wife out on the street, dancing, music, tuxedo on, flowers, sushi...

So, while I went out getting ready my wife calls me and is like "What are you doing?" And then I told her. All my hopes and dreams. :P Thinking she was going to be excited and all..

And then she says: "Lol! You're such a pu--y"

LMAO! What gives?

I was just wondering if it is normal/healthy for my 23 year old fiance, who still lives at home, to tell me that I will always be the number 2 woman in his life. Of course, his mother is number 1. This makes me so mad and whenever I tell him about it, he tells me that I am freaking out and that I need to stop letting stuff get to me. Yet he shares stuff with her that is totally inappropriate. He also has no problems showering while she is in the bathroom naked as well. His mother totally has him doing things that are unreasonable-he drops everything do do whatever she wants-even interrupting our dinner and he has to run home-then before we leave dinner he orders take out for her-she calls him all the time and does things for him that I think 23 year old men should do for themselves-it pisses me off that he tells people I am his fiancee and future wife and all that crap-I don't think I stant a chance-I will not make him choose-i will leave-any ideas on how to let him know I am serious?

I've already gotten jeans, but that isn't really a "ooohhh, i want those" thing. All I could find was a glass beer mug that has a pewter thing on it to engrave his name and birthday. Would that be good? Any other ideas? Would definitely love some help from guys on this one. Already planning on the usual big dinner and such, too.

My boyfriend and I have a two and a half year history together with some breaks in between. He has been talking about marriage and having a family together for about a year and a half. We live three states apart and last weekend when I went to visit him, I found out that he flirts with girls up there. Why would he flirt with other girls if he says he wants to marry me? Should I allow it assuming flirting is all he is doing since he is so far away and we cant see each other very often?

Married 12 years. And at all the family events(Halloween especially!), my wife just has to take pictures! Especially of me and my 2 year old daughter! I hate taking pictures..remind me I'm getting old!

It'll be fine if she would take pics of herself as well! But she hates taking pictures as well. :P
Anyone else got a stubborn wife (and just love it :D?)

I am divorced since 3 months, my ex-wife does not have a job, an apartment, or friends here, no place to go, cries all the time. She's been coming to my house every night to sleep, she practically lives here. I cannot stand it, but I don't have the heart to kick her out. I try to help her find a job, an apartment, but she is unreliable at best. I want my life back. What should I do?

My wife and I are in our 30s , we have been married 8 years - but neither of us cares for the sex between us.
We love each other, go on dates, we are best friends - but we are just not intimate that often.
She probably would be willing to do it more - I just dont have the desire like I should.
I have given her the ok, if she wanted, to find a guy to take care of her sexual needs....as bad as that is. She has started emailing a guy she used to work with, but I'm not sure she is ready to do something like that yet.
My question is -
Do other married couples - go for long periods of time without sex?
Does anyone else have a good marriage that does NOT have much sex going on?

He says he loves me, but he is withholding affection and refuses sex or intimacy. He won't sleep in bed with me, will kiss me once and then pull away. We never had a honeymoon.

I feel he resents me, and may be manipulating the relationship. I feel he didn't want to get married as I did - so soon.

I am insecure but feel if he would only give me more affection than I would be happier. I have a lot of love inside to give to him.

Before me, he had little money. Now, he enjoys good food, the "extras" he didn't have before. I cook and clean, work 40 hrs a week. I even give him massages weekly and don't withhold oral on him when he asks.

We have only been intimate about 10 times in a year. It is emotional abuse. He won't go to counseling. I thought he was my soul mate, but now I may leave him because I feel hurt and feel he doesn't care enough.

He won't smoke outside even though I have told him it bothers me.
Why would he be this way? And then tell me to stay?

When a man leaves his wife and he says it is because he is "not happy" what does that mean? Is it just a cop out - a way to justify their actions - especially when the unhappiness only became an issue when they began having an affair? I believe people are responsible for their own happiness - if you are relying on someone else to make you happy then you will never be happy. On another note - do these affairs last?
