On Valentine's Day this year, I woke up with a plan to be romantic to my wife. I had it all figured out. My daughter was to be with the grandparents and me and my wife out on the street, dancing, music, tuxedo on, flowers, sushi...

So, while I went out getting ready my wife calls me and is like "What are you doing?" And then I told her. All my hopes and dreams. :P Thinking she was going to be excited and all..

And then she says: "Lol! You're such a pu--y"

LMAO! What gives?

I think knowing what your wife is all about would make you want to do everything as a surprise to really catch her off guard - rather than giving it all to her up front and waiting for her to drop a nasty comment that you won't be able to forget about that totally ruins things. I had a friend who used to make complete plans for a getaway and then she would "kidnap" her spouse (remember all the plans were in order already with work, kids, etc.) and blindfold him and take him wherever she had planned. This really spiced up their life. I hope it helps! prayers =)

Romance is never out of the question - it just sounds like she wasn't in the mood, although she could have been at least a bit appreciative!! Why not ask her what she'd like to do for a romantic night and then set that up?

You're being very nice about this! I would have got very annoyed!!

Gosh I hope not! I've only been married 2 months. I sure hope we don't loose our romance! I think that if you do things to keep it interesting then you shouldn't loose the romance! Maybe she needs something exciting, spontaneous? I don't know I would have loved the idea, but I am a softie at heart!

Its a real kick in the butt isn't it, I have been there and done that. It won't get better with time , some women aren't the romantic type , like some men aren't. If you love her then live with it or not. Sorry!!!!!!!!!
