Alot of reasons could be behind this. What's his day like? Is he under alot of stress at work? Is he not feeling well? Is he overweight? Is he depressed?

Men have their sexual peaks when they are 18, its women who peak sexually in their late 30's and 40's once the real threat of more children pass them by. But that has nothing to do with your husband.

Have you actually just asked him what might be wrong? If nothing else, have him get a complete physical. Its very likely its physical.

You might also look at your behavior. Are you a good loving, supportive partner? Have you worked at keeping your part of the relationship alive?

A woman hits her sexual peak at 40 ~ a man at 17. That is a fact. But, most people still want regular sex even if they are no where near the peak. I would advise that you DO NOT MARRY this guy if you even remotely enjoy sex. Just as I suspected, marriage sex is like an endangered species that no one cares to save. Run girl, while the running is good.

I would not call 40 a peak but we are still plenty horny and capable at 40. Have you two been together long enough that things may be boring? If so spice it up A cute ,sexy outfit ,maybe.Do you wait for him to initiate, if so try taking controll, seduce him, I can't imagine a guy saying" not tonight ". Is there something different about you,( have you gotten a little thick?) How about him, hows his health? ( E.D.?) All just food for thought .

Honey, that's not a good sign. Nah---its not the age difference===its only 5 years. He should be good to go almost any time. I would have serious doubts about tying the knot with a man who "never wants to make love." I would suggest talking with him about this and be very sure that you want to marry him, because if he's like this now======imagine what he'll be like 2 years, 5 years, etc.

It might just be a result of stress or perhaps he's bored with your sex life. I would assume that it's the former, but maybe if you bring it up to him politely (not in an angry way, of course) he could tell you ifhe's just acting this way because of stress or if it's something else bothering him.

I doubt that it is his age. I got married when I was 39 years old to my present wife and we had sex sometimes every night and maybe more than once a day. Maybe he has other interests someplace else. Just a thought.
