You don't have to be a history major or work at Progressive to realize the world is getting better.
Some folks say, "Back in the old days, people were more committed." Not true. Fine, they stayed in the marriage, but that doesn't mean they were happy. The only thing changed is that upon 2000, people started marriaging for the soulmate and happiness. Is that a bad thing?
"The moral values have declined." What moral values? From the dawn of time people had sex before marriage. And I'm not talking the 1600s. Look at the 1960s. Were they all virgins before marriage? The only thing that changed upon 2000 is that women could be more openly promiscious and confident in their short skirts and tops. Is confidence a bad thing?
What history books have you studied that proves that morals have declined? And if so, why have they? Maybe if people from the "olden days" would set a better example... but, old jealous folks are just a bunch of hypocrites.
