My husband has multible friends. Each and everyone of them seems to all want to hang out for drinks. I believe that I am doing everything I can, but is there more. When I say everything I mean everything. So how do I get him to stay home and tell the guys no?

I sense major problems. HE has to be the one to want to stay home. And quite frankly, he's probably an alcoholic who is choosing booze and friends over you. Honestly, NOTHING you can do about that one. He's gotta hit bottom and you're gonna have to leave before he even remotely takes note. And even if he notices, alcoholism is an addiction. They'll choose drinks/friends over family and you.....sick and disturbing I know but truthful. He's gotta go get healthy. Believe me, I learned the hard way - you can be 'perfect' and it won't matter. It's a losing battle and in the end YOU feel defeated because he's choosing booze over you. Again, it's an addiction. HE needs to get help and maybe you could go to Al-Anon and find out what you're doing to 'enable' his bad behaviour? I don't know all the details but it's a start.

Why don't you tag along?? If he wants to go out for drinks then why don't you go with him?? If he is not doing something wrong then he should not mind you going with him. It is hard ,but from personal experience little by little I have narrowed our friends to married couples. Just because they understand the responsibilities and commitments that are involved in a marriage. We used to have a lot of single friend a while back and had similar problems to what you are going through. See I do not think they understand that we have time limits and other commitments with each other and children as a family. I know it might be hard but probably it is something you can try and change with time. Good Luck!!

In my experience people tend to do the opposite of what you ask. If you've asked him several times to spend more time at home and he doesn't then try telling him "Honey, I think you should spend more time with your friends." What the hell do you have to lose if he repeatedly ignores your wishes?

You give him some great sex, then say if you go out anymore without me, then I'm gone, and mean it.

If he does, then you better stand by your word and leave.

1) you could tag along and have some fun...
2) you could offer him the dirtiest sex EVER...
3) tie him down and do some pretty sexy things to him...

if he resists all that, you got problems.

Ask him nicely why he chooses them over you. Based on his response, change your behavior.
