My husband and I are about 30 days from having our divorce be final. We live in separate residences and have for about 5 weeks. We broke up for many reasons; the final straw however was me discovering his affair with a married co-worker. After his visitation this week my son mentioned that she and one of her small sons came over to dad's house one of the nights. My soon to be ex knows my feelings on her in general, and also that I don't believe we should expose our son to any love interest unless we are on the verge of commitment. She is married, so a real commitment would be pretty hard to make. Am I being a bitter b**ch? Any suggestions on how to handle this situation? Please no jokes; I'm very upset about this. Thanks!

It is a good question to ask. I think the family
would be better off. The children would be off the streets because parents would stop looking out for number # 1 and than teaching strong values & morals which we need ever more now in the society. Commitment has cost. All of us need to pull up our socks and don't be a quiter at anything. If a individual don't stand for something. That individual will fell for anything. We need more leaders with very strong values & morals. Well people see what they're prepared to see and like they say you reap what you sow. Hey I know this a individual can't change if that individual don't knowledge it . Well it is a hard core fact here. Can anyone make a horse drink water when that horse is at the water ? Nope no one can do that.

Have you ever experienced first hand or otherwise when two people have a child, seperate, move on with their lives, grow and then reconnect. I know this sounds like a childhood fantasy or hollywood screenplay, I'm just curious if anyone has real life testimonial to this occuring. The break up was turbulant, filled with lots of hurt feelings, the relationship up to that point was filled with unrealistic expectations and lies. He has moved on to live with someone else (not happily), still in contact with the child and she has focused her attention onto her needs and the needs of her child.
Both have grown and changed, matured. Do you think the reconciliation is strictly for the child? Is it realistic? Is it settling?

I have fallen in love with a man I have never met, we chat everyday online, and I think about him all day. We are both in relationships and we are very committed to our families. I really want to meet him, but we are thousands of miles away. Should I find a way to meet him, or find ways to forget about him.

Please serious answers only!!!!

Husband cheated 3 yrs ago when my children were 1 and 3. After 2 counseling sessions, I put on this front like I was happy. I couldn't bear the pain of my family falling apart. 3 yrs later I have more confidence and now am feeling resentful, angry, and feel so distant. I always have been the most devoted wife, make 2x his salary,(he quit college) and I can't get over how he could have cheated! I am attractive, thin and communicate well. He knows he was wrong,..and has changed..(but he is like pathetic puppet) I am confident and he is NOT. He cries all the time when I tell him I lost "it" for him. I am willing to co parent,..he is a very good father,..especially in the last 3 yrs. I am not attracted to him and have lost all respect for him. I know we married way too young. Sadly, we have two children. How do I leave him? I dont want to cheat,...just want OUT! Am I being selfish? How do I convince him to seperate?

that long term marriages are a thing of the past. And if so, is it even fair to have kids then.

I've been a married woman for over 20 years. The last 5 years have been very lonely and isolated. My husband is very selfish and spends most of his free time playing golf, watching sports, or snoozing on the couch. Our sex life has been non-existant for nearly 4 years - yes, no sex at all, and our conversations revolving either around money problems or the kids. I've directly asked for a more loving, itimate partnership and am willing to work on it, but nothing changes. I spent most evenings and weekends by myself, or walking our dogs. TV has become one of my best friends. I always believed that I would be married forever, but I cannot see myself being sexless or lonely for the rest of my life. I've kept myself in good shape and like to have fun. I'm confused about my vows and if I should stay married to a man who will not make an effort to improve our relationship. I would like some advice on what you would do?? Please help!

Long hair is always more attractive than short hair. One of the big reasons guys fear getting married is that married women always cut their hair, and by then you're stuck with her.
