I think you're generalizing. I've been married for over a year now and my hair is the longest its been in the last 3 years. sometimes women feel more powerful when they get a "power" cut. its kinda common knowledge that females with short hair look more powerful and in charge. so maybe thats it. but both me and my step-mom have long hair along with many of the other moms I know. it also depends on if the married woman stays at home or works. short hair is more professional. long hair is easier to work with when rushed with kids.

Because we have to break records when getting dressed, and I do think that a womans hair is the last reason men put off getting married. And remember women feel stuck too, men get big bellies and grey hair after they get married so as I see it women get the worst of the deal.

When I met my hubby my hair was very short. I was in the Army. I grew it out long for a while, but then got a job where I had to have it pulled up all the time. So cut if off again. I go from one extreme to the other, my husband doesn't mind. Who says long hair is more attractive?

Your joking right? You really don't think women grow their hair long to trap a man into marriage and then right after the wedding whacks it off? This is just so funny! LOL
If you do have some silly idea this is true, please allow me to disabuse you of this notion. Women do not cut their hair just because they get married. Plus, I would hope the man married her for what she has inside her soul, not just because she has pretty long hair! How shallow would that be? LOL
Don't worry, women don't do this. If they cut their hair it is because they want to try out a new style and remember, unless she has cancer it WILL grow back. I take my man's opinions seriously too, if he would ask me not to cut my hair because he thinks it really pretty that way, why I wouldn't cut it because I love and repect him, plus he looks at my hair much more than I do. lol
These "answers" are halarious! One says: I got my hair colored and a few days later went completely bald, so I had to cut the rest off. If she went completely bald what was left to cut off? lol
Hey, thanks for such a funny question which received such funny answers! I don't think I have had such a good laugh here in weeks!! Thanks and have a nice day. But really, women do NOT cut their hair to spite their men or due to trying to trap men with long hair and then cutting it to spite the man, or due to being lazy and not taking care of themselves or their children. This is all so funny, but it is sad too as I think some of these people actually believe what they are writing. That is sad, sad, sad.

First of all you don't marry a woman because of her hair. But, I'll tell you the reason women do it. Long hair gets a man (even if you are fat and ugly) once you have him, you aren't trying to "get him" anymore. So you cut your hair because it's easier to take care of. My husband loves long hair. I love my husband, so I would never cut my hair above the middle of my back. But I'm getting old now (42) and I wonder what's going to happen in a few years....As long as he likes it, I'll keep it. But if he ever says "cut it" I'll do it in a heart beat.

I get my hair trimmed I don't really cut it I always trim it to keep it nice and I don't want split ends I got my hair trimmed today my husband begged me not to cut it short I left it just got layers through it and trimmed he likes it I think the reason why women like really short hair is because it's quick and easy and they don't want to deal with their hair or they don't have the time to fix it my dad calls short hair on a woman the lazy look he says they don't have to deal with their hair as much

hey my hair was short before I got married for the first time and I let it grow long after that so not all women are alike. Besides that if a man really loves a woman then he wouldn't care.

Thats not always true as trends and times change they just change their hairstyles thats all and some of the changes they make may require the hair to be cut and maybe trimmed I made that mistake I had beautiful hair, thought I would change my hair color went to a trusted friends salon had my color changed, few days later I went completely bald I had no choice but to cut the rest off and start over. Also you arent stuck w/anyone you dont want to be stuck with it is a preference if you choose to stay then thats your fault but to feel stuck w/her after she changes her hair is kind of shallow.I'm very glad my husband didnt feel like he was stuck w/ me after I lost my hair.

Not all married women cut their hair. If having a wife who cuts her hair would make you feel "stuck", perhaps marriage is not for you.

honey i am engaged to be married and i am only 22 i have a man and i only trim my hair by professional way only i get someone to do it. but i never cut it or make it short i hate it .. if you think it matters if your wife haw long hair or short you shoudn't be married . her looks shouldn't matter it is what is on the inside not what is on her head. if you don't accept it cause it isn't your body then your marriage isn't go nna work
