I am a widow and after ten years alone raising my deceaced husbands and my children I am about to remarry a wonderfull man whom I know will be an amazing husband. My first marriage was good, we loved each other dearly, but when you marry young life is much more chaotic as there is still maturing to do and wisdom to gain. Not that you are not learning and growing as well as gaining wisdom all your life, but after you have lived forty or so years it is easier to know how to be married without all the termoil and angst. So, I may not be currently married, but I know when I do it will be a great marriage. We have lived together well over a year now and we have not had a single fight. Now, that is really amazing!! Beautiful too. ;-)

I have a fantastic marriage! He and I don't agree on everything. That would be boring. We're very different in many ways. We have different parenting styles. Our children accept this and respond to each of us in different yet positive ways. We've been through our share of hard times. We've even been separated. It has taken years to find out where and how we belong with each other. We respect each others differences. The bottom line is I totally love him for WHO he is, not what he is. I treasure every moment we have together. When my cell phone rings, I have a distinctive ring that's especially his call. When he hugs me, I'm in my safe place- in his arms. Do we ever argue? Sure we do. Every happy married couple argues at one point or another. We don't yell and scream at each other and we never NeVeR NEVER go to bed mad at each other. I love my husband and I KNOW he loves me.
A Family that prays together, stays together. Keep JESUS CHRIST the head of your home and you'll make it!

No one has a great marriage. Every couple have their ups & downs. My husband & I were rmarried 40 years ago. We each tolarate certain behavior in each other. We have our share a problems, but we talk them out. Whenever we go out to dinner or a movie, we rember to say thank for being with me. (There are certain movies or resturants we go to that one of us doesn't. like, but we go with our partners. We still hold hands, give each other little pecks on the lips or cheeks in public. We believe family is the most important thing in the world. We are not a perfect family, but we enjoy each other company..
