would be better off. The children would be off the streets because parents would stop looking out for number # 1 and than teaching strong values & morals which we need ever more now in the society. Commitment has cost. All of us need to pull up our socks and don't be a quiter at anything. If a individual don't stand for something. That individual will fell for anything. We need more leaders with very strong values & morals. Well people see what they're prepared to see and like they say you reap what you sow. Hey I know this a individual can't change if that individual don't knowledge it . Well it is a hard core fact here. Can anyone make a horse drink water when that horse is at the water ? what with a women who can ( due to no fault divorce laws ) leave him at any time and there is no consequences ( socially or finacial ) for her.
in the old days before feminism and womnes indepenance
the man was takebn care of, he worked hard for his family, the women had her place and was happy to tend the home while the husband pulled in the money, divorce rates were extremly low back then, and not without shame nor scandal attached.
but such values ( and honor ) are gone.. in it's place is a hostile 2 party independance system.. the myth that a women can have it all is just that, a myth, someone needs to be home watching the kids while the husband works. there is no incentive for a man anymore, he works. comes home to an empty house with a note saying microwave your own dinner, he washes his own clothes, pretty much he live as a bachleor inside of a marriage. pretty soon kids enter the picture and the sex is gone, the wife no longer looks tempting as she has let her self go, gaining weight and looking frumpy in the process. then one day she has an affair ( more and more women are cheating now a days ), she file for divorce, they sell the house, he pay alimony, child support and is pretty much broke for her actions. all this due the fact that she has been told by women's orginizations that it better like this, she has the freedom now ( she was never slave.. but you never know it by the way they put it ) to do as she pleases, this includes having affiars, and divorcing.

until that prevaling attitude is stopped among women you never have honor back in marriage. the divorce rate proves me out ( higher that 50% ), all these women who think they found the "one" have not..there is no social stigma anymore when someone cheats or divorces, or is a single mother, parent, has a child out of wedlock.. that's been cosidered politically incorrect to label them as such..pre nups are the norm.. and why not... you cannot honestly think it going to work anymore.. women are far too fickle to stay in a marriage...

where's the honor in that?

society would be the same.....some of what you say is true....some peeps just werent meant to have little ones....there can be divorce and still be order if the parents care about the young-uns,problem with the children is not the problems with parents breaking up its the problem with the parents not being parents
