Is it true that our senses/mental processes are not the same? Does this support most of the fights that newly -weds/newly-moved- together couples have?

Science has proven that women use more of their brain then men. It's also proven that we can use both sides of our brain at the same time, men cannot. I'm not saying we are superior, I am just saying that women are better at accomplishing more in the same amount of time as a man.

My husband and I had this argument all the time. He's the type that is "What I say...goes", and I let him believe that. Then one night we are watching Dateline and they did a story on it. All I can say is THANK YOU DATELINE!

LOL, no men and women are wired differently. My husband even knows this. He would tell me that he can only focus on one thing at any given time while I can multitask at any time. I'm sure it has a part to play in the disagreements and fights cause women come out as being more emotional and vocal while men appear to be more distant and cold. Of course there are exceptions to the rule. That is also the reason why my husband would say one thing and I would interpret it differently then we end up getting irritated with each other. It's just differences in the thought processes.

There are differences yes. Most arguments from being newly wed though have to do with two people learning to live together and get routines and set rules and boundaries etc. It's a huge revelation when you start to live with somebody.

Nope. It's a Yin & Yang thing. You say Mauve,
I say Tiki Barber...

Read "Men Are From Mars, Women are
From Venus." Very succinct book.

Well considering the x/y chromozones and the difference in estrogen and testosterone... no, women are able to share and express their emothions more than men. Men are ususally better at math and memorizing text... women can analyze and deduce more.
