I have a question I would like for a male who's experienced an affair to answer. I have been married for quite some time and recently had an affair. I did not go out on purpose to have this affair. I felt terrible and ashamed for having the affair as I still loved my husband. Some people find this hard to believe, but until you experience the lonliness in a marriage you won't know. I have voiced my concerns about us growing apart and how important is to spend time with our kids to my husband for many, many years only to have it basically ignored. The affair was over months ago and we have been to counseling and everything is going well now. We have established better communication and love for each other. Throughout this ordeal, he has remained extremely calm. My question is do you think he has has affair, which is why he remains so calm? He denies ever having an affair, but I'm perplexed at his emotional calm. I just want a man's perspective on my husband's state of mind.

A girl and I from work had an affiar. We were both married, however during our time we both got divorced. Well, I should say we're separated. Our relationship wasn't supposed to be anything emotional, but we ended up falling in love with each other. I ended up getting burned really bad. We talked about everything including children. I've never wanted kids before this girl. She told me that no man has ever treated her so nicely and cared for her so much and that if we are together, she only wishes that I never change. How can she go from being in love with me to not wanting it anymore? And how do I finally put the relationship to rest even though I don't want to give up?

to Sturgis before, but a big fly smacked me square in the mouth on the ride. I nearly killed us from the swerve, scared my wife to death. Has anyone been in a near death with your significant other? Was it a life changing moment for you?

Hi I have been married to my husband for a little over a year now. We have been together 3 years. I have a son from a past relationship and he has 2 kids from his ex wife. Now my husband and I have a baby on the way. In a few days now! All of a sudden his 8 year old daughter does not want to come over anymore and his 13 year old son never comes over except when we are going on vacation or holidays. (pretty much when money is involved) My husband is getting really depressed about his kids not coming. i dont know how to help him. I think the ex wife is telling the kids he will not love them anymore after our daughter is born! The ex always calls about discpline problems at her house with the kids. ( I never say anything) She always wants him to do things she can do herself. I am worried that she is telling them stuff and he will get so depressed over the kids he will leave me? I tell him she is trying to break us. And he thiks so as well. I just dont know what to do or how to support him

She is a cheater. I forgave her and tried to make the changes she said she needed . I now see she has been cheating with a few guys for years and 1 of them is quite emotional. I tried, I forgave and now I see what a lying whore she really is. We have 2 children in school. I want a divorce and want to stay in the house being that she is the 1 who is so unhappy here, and I want my kids to stay in there schools. Does the victim of a cheating wife have a chance during divorce hearing to get her to move out. She obviously has enough boyfriends to go to, I have no place to go.

my husband and i use to get on great but i have found out things about him the past few months that i dont like. he never told his parents that he married me and that we ahd a son,the only reason they found out was because i got hold of their address and wrote to them they have just been down to visit and they are lovely this is the first time i have met them even tho weve been married for nearly 2 years, my husband use to say that he had told them but they were close enough not to contact each other all the time, also he is constantly drinking and gets violent when he is hungover having hit both me and our son. he has joined internet dating agencies, told me that he had a daughter with his ex girlfriend this turned out to be lie and is selfish when it comes to money leaving me with very little and has also said his mates will always come first before myself and our son. im wanting to leave him but he loves our son very much and vice versa what should i do

As horrible as the title makes it, I don't need anyone telling me what a piece of s*** I am for this. We work together, he is 27, married, no kids, he works ALOT. He is head chef at the restaurant. He works from 12pm-2am on weekends 10am-12pm weekdays. His wife works mornings, and they only have one day off together. So they don't get to see each other alot at all. We were hanging out on a Friday night after the retaurant had closed (with other people), but they left leaving just him and I. I went to leave and he just grabbed me and hugged me. He then kissed me. I did push him back and say "you're married" I told him "I do want you, have an interest in you, but you are married." I know him and his wife are not happy, and he told me he is not happy, but secure. We ended up having sex and he said I could have him as long as I wanted. Every week or so we hang out and this happens. II don't know if he has feelings for me, but I know I love him. I just don't know how he feels, any advice?

I Clean, grocery shop and take care of our son. Ok I hate cooking, but I do cook. He's so picky on what to eat. He works during the day and sometimes does side work in evenings and weekends. He makes decend money, more then I ever could. Which leads me to the problem I have with him saying why can't I fined a job that would make more then $9 or $10 an hour. See I would have to be able to afford to pay daycare and if I am I would only be pulling in a small bit. He said that's better then nothing. He said if I get a job he will help out around the house. I tried this before and I ended up so worn out from taking care of my son, cooking, cleaning and everything else.
