Play the hide and seek game...send your spouse a note telling them to meet you at some place for a drink. Go there before them with a hand written note sealed in an envelope, something really complimentary to them, and then leave it with the bartender, with the directions to go to a second place....at that place have a hotel key waiting with an employee, and another handwritten note, letting that person know what they're in store for when they get to said hotel room. This will make it so hot....and if you tell the employees involved that it's for your "anniversary" they'll be more than willing to help (plus a fiver doesn't hurt either!) Then there's always the role playing games, and other things...

Take ballroom dancing lessons together, or any type, it shows a new type of chemistry to develop. Just have fun and try to things, have a picnic, buy bikes and go riding together. Make a rule that you have to have 1 surprise for each other each week. My friends boyfriend just got a massage therapist friend to come to his house and he put up candles and music and had her come over and she got a 1 hour massage. She was so thrilled and surprised... What a keeper, huh?
