I don't think that you can not carry old hurt with you into a new relationship, it is what you do with it that matters.

You learn from it, you may not trust as easily as before, you keep your eyes open and you question more. these are not bad things, If you do not learn anything from past problems and hurts then there was no point.

What you have to try not to do is: Misplaced anger, follow him, not trust him at all. If you can not refrain from doing these things, you are not ready for another relationship yet.

You shouldn't have gotten married a second time if you are still hurting from the first. To late now I guess. Hurting from the end of a relationship take time to heal. If you love this person in the second marriage you should explain your hurting. Of course it will hurt them to but you need to share everything. Or you just might be asking about your third marriage next time.

If you can figure that one out you can become wealthy from the sales of your book describing it how to do it.
Everybody over a certain age brings baggage into relationships. The baggage can come from many different places;how you grew up, religious beliefs, previous relationships and combinations thereof.

Allow yourself to be happy, don't dwell on past experiences. You married this person, I assume, because he loves you and cares for you. Let go of the past and move on.
