my son father sence birth wants nothing to do with him. my son is now ten and wants me to find a boyfriend so he has that male figure in his life being that i never had a realionship more then two weeks i am scared. it wasnt my fault about not having soemone in my life i just excepted the cards life gave me. what do i tell him because i dont want to run out and get just any one but i also feel if it is ment to be i will find that special some one. right

my mom has been having an emotional affair with a guy she met at church a long time ago. we've "caught her slippen" a few times before and she has since reassured us that there is NOTHING going on between them anymore. tonight, i find out that she's been lying to us this whole time! what i find most disgusting about this situation is that she talks to this guy on a daily basis and sees him behind our backs and STILL have the nerve to come home to us. my dad has obviously had enough of this drama and does not want to deal with it anymore. but it really bothers me and i feel that he doesn't deserve to be treated this way. i feel like confronting my mom about it for the millionth time and telling her to once and for all leave the family and never come back. am i wrong for wanting to do that? please advise......

My husband is usually very sweet, but when his kids are around, he seems really stressed and takes it out on me by yelling and treating me like I don't matter. I have tried talking to him, but he doesn't see what he is doing. It is very stressful having the kids around because they don't disrespect him or me or our home. I have told my husband that taking out his stress on me is not helping. Any suggestions?

Well this is how it started i lived with my mum and dad in a nice house.My mother divorced my dad years ago and then she abandoned me and my dad.My dad didn't have any savings and she sold my dad's house years ago.We don't have a car and i get teased a lot at school and i feel like im worth nothing because we own nothing.My dad has been very depressed and its hard for him to get a better job.He is working somewhere where it pays him crap money and it only just pays for food and rent after that we are just about broke.I have no idea where my mum is and my older brother ranaway a while back.He said he'd comeback oneday but he still hasn't.Whoa i didn't realise how much i was typing...please somebody ! i need advice,i mean we arent that poor but we have very little..... i feel bad and i hope i don't sound like im complaining,but i am greatful for what i have,but that doesn't make my life easier....i also feel like i have no future.

. She said to me "aww. your so cute"
.She isnt afraid to touch me she sometimes touches or rubs agiasnt my arm
. Makes frequent eye contact "the eye contact were you feel like she is waiting for something"
. Sometimes says whats up but she generaly ignores me
. Seems nervous around me I was helping her with something once and she berly spoke a word
. She has tried to partner up with me before in science

It may seem obvious but she ignores me and doesnt really make an effort to get to know me. We have know each other for about a year but where not at the friends level.
I would talk to her but i just get so nervous i cant talk to her. oh ya were 18 shes 3 months older but i dont think she knows that



I really do care about her. when i look her in the eyes they just have this glow that really makes me think she feels the same way

I asked my Mum if i could move school because i didn't really like it that much , and she knew that the school was getting quite bad and she knew that lots of people where leaving from it. I had a calm and relaxed conversation with her, ( i had been dreading it in case she said no) and she said that she ould look at some school, and she was been serious, Then the next week i asked her if she was going to look at some school online today and i also gave her a small list of some schools, and she said no, she said "I dont want you to move you have a lovley school and it would be a shame to waste it" then asked "you said you would at least look at somme" and she denies the whole thing. She always breaks promises that why when i asked her i sort of reminded her what she said and she agread for the day but then she acted like nothing has happened

i am the eldest daughter of my mom but can be considered as a blackship because i'm fighting over them all and not listening to their advise. Sometimes i realized that its not right considering that i should be the model to my siblings, but i felt shy to show to them that i care about them and love them. may be my last note wasnt clear so i will try again. my dad just died in march, and i ended up with my mom she is bypolar and does things to upset me. she doesnt relize how she has put me in a money mess. she acts like a child. i dont know if she is worse now because my dad died but i need ways to cope with the stress she has caused me and my child so if you have any ways to make my life less stress please hit me back

I am not sure if this is the right place to be. Im 19 and mother left us a few years ago for some man. After she left, my dad has been in a deep depression, he would be drinking every night. I always have to take care of everything, i feel like his mother. All he does is work and go to the bar or come home drunk, i have to drive him home from the bar sometimes because he would be too drunk, sometimes my bf was nice enough to drive him home when i'm busy working. i am tired of taking care of him. He won't leave the past, he was doing poorly on his job and got fired a year ago, i've been working 2 jobs ever since. I cant stand it anymore! I am thinking of leaving him alone and moving in with my bf and i know for sure he will lose the house, instead maybe kick him out of the house. Grandparents are no longer living, i need to do something! please help!

My mom's attitude is very annoying...(if u've seen mr.monk...you'll understand)...she's obessed with cleanliness....she really make me feel like a child..for example
EXAMPLE: i wanted to spread jam onto my biscuit...she's afraid that the crumbs will be all over the floor...so she said''OMG..pls...let me do it for you'' in an angry tone...
Not only that...there are more...she would sit and watch me when i eat so i wun dirty the table...
I dun think i can life like this anymore...i've tried talking to her...saying i wun grow up like this...but all she does is continue that attitude...What should i do??

um... I have some pretty bad issues at home (which I'd rather not talk about) and I'm wondering if adoption would be a possibility... My mother would NEVER agree though... I'd rather not get anyone in trouble with the law but I can't stand living there.

I'm 35 and still live at home with my dad and sister. My dad is 70 and retired. Sister is 33 and mentally handicapped. She can't work. Mom passed away a little over 2 yrs ago. I work full time + overtime and pay my own bills. I don't pay rent to stay at home. ...but I do pay one of the utilities and half the groceries. I also provide transportation for them since dad doesn't have a running car. Right now I'm saddled with high payments to creditors trying to get out of the financial pickle I got into from helping my parents while they were in bankruptcy. Between that, my car note, and insurance I don't have enough money left over to pay rent at an apartment somewhere. I'm an administrative assistant so I don't make a whole lot of money.

Ok , my 25 yr old sister is living with me. She has a 2 yr old.
My sister is working in a strip club. She wants to leave here everyday by 2 or 3 pm... and she doesnt come home until 2 or 3 am....
She does get up in the morning and help around the house a little. but, that is it.
She doesnt help with bills.. and I am stuck here with her 2 year old almost all the time.
I have already said something to her once... what should I do?

This afternoon, i left home at 2:30PM to go to my school's library and studied there till 9:15PM. It usually takes me 1 hr to get home so i came home at 10:30PM. I need to take the subway and bus to get home. On the bus, my mom called then i told her that i was on my way home. My grandma, mom, and uncle were in the living room: . And just when i %$@# opened the door and said: "Hello grandma." (It's to show respect to elders):
Mom: "Why the hell are you home so late?"
Me: "I went to the school's library to study. I have a test tomorrow. I can't study at home!"
Grandma: "What? WHy can't you study at home?"
Mom: "She said she has a test tomorrow. Maybe there's some books in the library that she needed to look at."
Uncle: "Why didn't you go there in the morning and leave early?"
Me: said nothing and went into my room...cried with no sound for 2 mins!!!
Mom: "Why are you so stubborn?" (i came home at 10:30PM on Fri from library)

A year and a half ago, I lived in a luxurious home that cost 1.5 mill. She went to an award-winning school, had everything she wanted and such,
but now that the stock market is low & my husband & I used our money trying to pay off the house, we had to move into a small home. (Each month for the expensive house was $7,000 including paying for the staff at my nail shop($2,000) and the bills at home)
After we moved, we told our daughter to conserve money.
My daughter ALWAYS lightly scolds my husband and says: "Why did you buy a 1.5 mill house? That's why we are so poor!"
She has friends who live in the hills and has play dates to their homes. When she comes home from her day of play, she says how beautiful the home is and how lucky her friend is and then talks about homes and foreclosures on the way home.
She is just ten years old! We have $200,000; left and she cries over how we are going to end up on the streets or foreclosures or apartments.

Well, my name is Russell.... I'm a sophomore in High school and my mom just had her best friend's daughter come and live with us about 5 months ago and we began to butt heads from the 2nd week!

Nikita, is in the same grade as me but we don't have any classes together (thank god!) and we are two, completely different people. In Kodiak, my home town and home for a lot of my younger years is commonly referred to as "The Rock", because not many people ever leave!

The youth there, unlike here (Mat-Su Valley, Mainland Alaska) is like, well I guess you can call it a lot like the "ghetto".. at least where she is from.

We get along every once in a while... actually more often than not, and when we fight it become this huge grudge. Often times... usually, she is acting like an 8 year-old on drugs. She thinks she is all that and that whatever she does, goes. Well, it doesn't and I think someone needs to show that to her and make her realize that she is ruining her own life and future.

okay, whats up guys? thank you so much for taking the time to read my question. okay, here is the deal. last year, i didnt do so great in school because you know, i was a lazy bum, i admit it, but thank God that i got my butt back in shape and I want to start with a new goal for my education. yet, it turns out that my dad has been diagnosed with a disease. unfortunately, that gets in the way of my education, because i always to miss school to go with him to his appoinments and stuff. i really dont mind, as long as he is good. but i really cant get my grades up if i am missing so much school. can you guys please give me a suggestion on what i can do? what if i graduate with sucky grades? i am such a screw up.thank you, all your answers are appreciated it. <3

I hate to say this about my flesh and blood, but my brother is a lost cause.

He'll be 21 next month. He stopped going to community college, is not working (although he gets his money somehow..Apparently from selling weed), and he recently stopped attending his court ordered community service. So now he'll lay low at my mom's house because there may be a warrant put out for his arrest because he didn't finish community service. The bulk of his friends have either been arrested, shot at, and a couple killed.

Me and my mother have talked to him and reasoned with him countless times telling him he needs to get his act together and better his life. It's like he listens, but he doesn't listen. My brother's father is basically not in the picture, and mom is at a wits end with him. I know she wants to kick him out, but she fears that something bad will happen to him..something worse than him getting arrested. And he is her only son. What to do?

He got a call at work from him sister ..we havent spoken to the family in almost 3 years. His Son has refused to see him since we got married (18) and tonight when my husband came home I said you have to call. So he called the houst where his son lives and some woman answered the phone claiming to be a friend of the X and she said if we do come to the funeral DO NOT BRING YOUR WIFE..well first off I wouldnt want to go but to be there for the Justin. I just feeling really sad right now.....please i need encouragement...this woman would not let us talk to Justin or his current step father should we call backl maybe tomorrow. One of my friends called me a few minutes ago and he was crying saying his dad threw him against a wall.I am only 16 so I don't really know what to consider child abuse and my friend didn't do anything much he was just wrestling with his brother and his dad started hitting him with objects and now has bruises on his leg and his dad was throwing him all over and pushed him is this child abuse even if he is 15?
