my son father sence birth wants nothing to do with him. my son is now ten and wants me to find a boyfriend so he has that male figure in his life being that i never had a realionship more then two weeks i am scared. it wasnt my fault about not having soemone in my life i just excepted the cards life gave me. what do i tell him because i dont want to run out and get just any one but i also feel if it is ment to be i will find that special some one. right

of course you will find that special someone and you are to be commended for concentrating on raising your son on your own, it is totally natural for a child to want a male role model in their life, why not ask a close friend or family member to take a more active part in your sons up bringing, like a mentor, that way the pressure is off you to make a success of any relationship and risk upsetting your son when things dont work out, a friend or relative will always be around for him, guys come and go, and when you do have a special someone, your son will have more than one male role model

try the program that lets a older male take him out for a while weekly. i think its called big brothers. then start looking for someone to date. when you find the right one the first thing he should want to do is take your son out with you two. remember to not let your son meet these men until your sure hes the right one because having men taken from him alot will be hard on him.
