He thinks that ust because i wear them i will turn goth. i have nothing against goth people but that just isnt me. i love the style. How do i convince him to let me get get goth clothes and if he does i wont go geoth because that isnt me.

I was sitting on the couch with my dad tonight talking about movies, books and soundtracks. My dad's the only one I talk to about this because no one I know is interested in it, and neither is he, but he can tune me out but still say "mhm" or "yeah" every once in a while so I feel like I'm talking to someone that's interested in the same things I am. Well, anyway, I have asked him before after we had watched a movie or something what is favorite part was and he always says "I don't have one". But today I asked him if he had a favorite movie: he said no. I asked if he had a favorite book: no. Favorite song: no. It got me thinking. It seems like all he does is work (he is in the automotive business), research colleges for me and my sister, and in general take care of me, my sister, and my mom. I thought about it and it seems like he doesn't do anything outside of this. He doesn't have a hobby. He talks about taking up sailing (something he used to do a few years ago), or finish

My sister-in-law is not Catholic, neither is her husband. They are not at all religious and never have been church goers.
Their daughter started school last September and they didnt like the school she was attending. So they have now baptised her Catholic so she can attend the Catholic school that has better results.
Im i overracting by being disgusted by this? I think its a terrible thing to pretend to have a faith purely for gain in this way.
Im not Catholic myself but i respect religion and i am aware of
Catholic beliefs, these people openly admit they have no intention of following this religion. In fact they laughed at the idea and said it was a good job the Vicar wasnt aware that she had had an abortion!
My sister-in-law and her husband have good well paid jobs, they could afford to move within the catchment area of a better school or ever pay to go private, there was no need to do this.

Am i overreacting? Is this common practise now??

ive been in this gross situation for a long time: my 23 year old brother still lives with us, along with his 19 year old girlfriend, and their 2 year old son. they pay no rent to my parents even though they both have jobs(unbelievable enough)!! my brother makes plenty of money. and they literally have me as their maid! my brothers gf will never clean up after her son. it makes me so angry that after i vacuum, my nephew will throw food crumbs everywhere or he'll spill drinks and when i mop, he will spill juice on the floor and then i have to do it all over again. not only that, but he does so many things around my house because his mother wont watch him. who cleans up after him??? ME!! and my parents dont do anything about it...they even tell me to clean up after my nephew when he isnt my responsibility. my mom doesnt want to say anything to her son....she doesnt want him to move out!! i cant believe her. my dad isnt home much but he is aware. im tired of this sh!t.

Before my dad met my mom my dad had a wife she meant pretty much nothing to him after they got married well while they were married they had my half brother jonny he is like 24 or 25 im ten i have never met my half brother or my dads EX wife by the way im ten i have a mean 17 year old sister who pulls money out of the freakin sky i dont know but i think my mom and dad are payin this freakin hog the reason i dont like her is because she is a freakin snitch and a lyin turd by the way were mormons and our grand parents are very much against those movies rated R movies and my sister acts all innocent and tells them i bacectly abuse her while shes acting all innocent my grandparents aunts and uncles Parents are against me : ( and she watches those movies!

hi i'm 15 and a really have a problem
i live with my mother and brother in this really small house which we moved to a year ago from chicago
so now our house is really small , it has a kitchen and a bathroom and a living room and only one room which me and my brother sleep in
my mom doesn't have a room she sleeps on the floor in the living room
and i feel really bad about my mom sleeping on the floor for us
what can i do??????????????
we cant afford a bigger house

i really want to help her because i feel really bad for her

we argue alot i argue back she tells me what to do and i dont like being told what to do and being bossed around but i guess it has to be that way for another 2 years until im 18. and when we argue she almost always brings up the past wich i have clearly moved on from and i wish we would just stop argueing HELP!

when my son was born his dad was an alcoholic. he was struggling to cope with life mentally because he already had a kid (who he was seeing and supporting financially). i had some issues with depression and i was only eighteen. this other woman made my (and his) life hell. the whole situation with him, the other woman and my sons severe medical problems scared the crap out of me. so, i lied. i told him i had been sleeping with someone else and that my son wasnt his. i then moved home and changed my number. now ive got the depression sorted and my son is seven now. i know that he will start asking questions about him soon and will probably ask to meet him. should i hire someone to find him because i know they both have the right to know.

my brother is adhd and has some ocd, and it's driving me insane. he has to wash everything and i highly doubt that his meds are doing anything at all. the school almost kicked him out three times in one three month period and my mom suffered health problems from all the stress.
okay, I know, I'm really impatient with my brother and I often take out my anger with my brother on some people that really annoy me at school. no really bad stuff, but i argue and yell at people a lot. I really am trying to not yell so much and control my anger issues, but what can I do when all my parents think about is my brother, work and house work? my mom always says she doesnt have a favorite, but i'm starting to doubt that. I get money from my parents adn its not like i'm starving or anything, but is there anything I can do to just try and ignore him when he blows up and starts screaming his head off?!

My husband and I are going through a seperation. I have a two year old and unemployed. I want to offer my son the best of me and there is an opportunity to leave the country and earn a decent salary and still be able to be home most days around 3pm
, when he gets older, I will be home for him after school.

Alternativley I could stay in the country/town I am in , and his father will be around, but the job I can get here is a stressful environment pay won't be great in the beginning but excellent in a year or so(though not alot of jobs available here) but I will be familar with the work (previous job) probably only get home after 5pm sometimes will have to work long hours as projects draws to a close.This job I can also get in the other country but long hours but pay will be very good!

I struggle with career prospects of the repping job compared with a job as a Project manager. and the issue of moving countries ...I do have family in this country...

My dad is only home 5 days a week, and I never get to see him, neither do my brothers, but one of my brothers won't let my dad be with me or my other brother. So it's always just him and my dad. If me and my dad make plans, he tries to bend them so either they don't happen, or he comes. I usually wouldn't have a problem with my brother coming, but when I start a conversation with him, my brother kicks in and makes him stop talking to me with a conversation that he knows I won't understand. Example:
My dad PROMISED me he'd take me to the movies, and JUST me and my dad. Just us. So my friend begs me to go to a local fair, and I have to say yes, because this week my dad is home Saturday, Sunday AND Monday. He promised me he'd take me. Well Saturday didn't work out. So today is Sunday. Today is the day of the fair, so we aren't going to the movie's today. MY BROTHER AND MY DAD ARE. My brother worked it out so they could go! And tomorrow, he planned it so we are going [continued]

My mall is where Kelsey Smith got kidnapped. Before the whole thing happened I could go to the mall with my friends, no parents. Then it happened. After they found out she was killed I could never go to the mall alone again unless a parent came. Yesterday my friend called me and asked if I could go to the mall with a few other people, including a 15 year old. I said maybe. Then I asked my mom and she said she would have to come with us (yea right...). Why doesnt she trust me?! Its not like someone will come and get me. I am safe. I have a cell phone. I met my dad when i was 12 we have been living together for 5 years now and we don't get along we fight alot and I am tired of it trust me wat hurts the most is seeing my mom cry he hits me I don't say nothing my mom is always there trying to defend me I just don't want to make her suffer anymore she's my life she wants me to leave the house I just don't know were to go am 16 december 17th I'll be 17 . I love him very much and want to be with him but things are complicated I have a good job where I am at and I have a daughter and that would mean uprooting her away from extended family. Perks...he treats her and loves her as his own no question and I have already had phone calls of people offering me jobs out there with better pay. The pros and cons are about even, the biggest thing is hurting the people we will be leaving behind and I just want my daughter to be happy. Anyways anything would help thank you.

My sister-in-law has a habit of going to my bedroom/bathroom for some reason whenever she visits with her husband, even though we have a potty room downstairs. She hasnt stolen anything, but the behavior just creeps me out. I find it very weird. Since I live with my inlaws, I cant complain to them either or outright confront her.What should I do?? Is this behavior abnormal or just lack of manners??Is there a name for such people??
P.S My friend says she feels threatened by me, in some way that is why she wants to see what I have, so she can better herself. She has more money than me, she has better stuff than me, so I am not sure that is the reason :-?

My nephew is VERY bright and at one time wanted to get into computer gaming design... Now I'm noticing that he is picking up his father's lazy ways. His dad doesnt work and does nothing but play video games and watch dvds all day. (My sister has a very good paying job)

Now he wants to put off college and try flipping houses. This is not a viable career move because in our area and many others, there are more people fallling into the foreclosure trap than actually purchasing houses....

Help!

1- I have blue eyes and nobody in my family has (my grandfather has green)

2-I have black hair but all my family has light brown or brownish-blonde

3-My family has an accent when they talk but I don't

4-my father is 1.82m my mother is 1.80m but I'm 1.74m
