I lost a father, and i'm on the verge of losing a muther. so i want to know if anyone on here has lost a muther, a father, or both parents. I want to know what it will feel like after my mum dies. i feel terrible already about my dad dying. So has anyone on here lost one or both parents?

She'd been living with us for some yrs but it started happening recently.Instead of telling her mother or us,she allowed it to go on for several months before going to the police & making a complaint, which is how we found out. My sis, my cousin & I are in the same age group(18-20) & share the same friends. Me & my sis found out that she had told a few of our friends what was going on ( she even told my sister's bf) & all of them had kept it a secret all the while although we saw them practically everyday. I live in a small community & the whole thing with all the gory details was in the newspaper(including my father's name) & now EVERYBODY i know (teachers, classmates & friends) know about it. I HATE leaving home because of the way people look at me, (with pity or smug satisfaction) & I HATE the silence that descends in a room whenever I enter & the knowing looks people give one another from which i can tell we were just being discussed. It's getting harder & harder to ignore.

my dad died this morning at 10:55. he had lung cancer. we had just found out about it in september....this has all happened so fast. and i am making myself angry because i cant even cry. why cant i cry??? i loved my dad dearly. i just dont know....there has to be something wrong with me.

My nephews mother gave him and his brother up 10 months ago to my brother, well then one boy wanted to go back to his moms but the other stayed willingly. Now she wants the other one back. But she isnt fit to be a mother. My nephews say she drinks all day, there are 9 people living in a 2 bedrrom trailer home. They say it stinks at the house. WHAT CAN WE DO???

My FIL has never treated me properly. He's criticized everything I've ever done. Example: My husband & I went on a 4 day trip so we asked my FIL to watch our ferrets, & when we came home he told us that we aren't ready for kids because we left our ferrets alone without caring. I told him that ferrets are completely different than kids, & he snapped. He told MY FATHER that he was so mad that I had disrespected him like that, that he could've slapped me!! This & other events like it, happened over 2 years ago and he's still complaining to everyone BUT ME about it. I've confronted him about the things that he's mad at me for, & every conversation turns into him screaming and claiming that he is right and i'm young and inexperienced. Winning is not an option with this guy. So here is my dilemma: My husband and I are going to his father's town to visit some old friends, do I visit my FIL and act like nothing is wrong just to keep the "peace", bring up my beef and start a war or avoid him?

I've just found out that he's having an affair. N i'm having real trouble controlling myself from having a showdown. My mom n my sis have no idea about it. Nor does my father know that i know. N i'm at my wit's end as to how to deal with it.. N my biploar is not helping me much either. I mean, it's just recently that i was diagnosed with bipolar n then within 2 days i stumble across this. They seem to care about me but they only show it when I'm in danger of some sort. And the only time my dad ever hugs me is when I get good grades. And the only time my mom ever looks at me is when I've done myself up for a tea or something. Otherwise they ignore me. Recently I got my grades back and I'm doing really badly. My dad isn't talking to me. I guess that means he's lost hope of ever loving me. My mom doesn't know. She doesn't really seem to ever know what's going on in my life anymore. She probably wouldn't care, anyway. My parents never talk to eachother, anyway. They have separtate rooms. Maybe they should just get divorced and we maybe we would have two functional homes rather than one dysfunctional one. Maybe it would be best if I just got a job and moved out. Then my parents might miss me. Well, I doubt it. So, what do you think I should do? Get good grades and dress up like a doll, and get fake love from my parents? Or be myself and be ignored?

this girl that is in my apartment building who keeps saying stuff and whose involved with the police she already beat up on eof my friends for no reason and there is an office in the building an dthey said the girl she beat up is not allowed in the building and she's punishing her?!

My father is a very rude and obnoxious man at times. He thinks that he knows the truth about everything.

I went to stay with my daughter for a few weeks who lives with her Dad in another state. My ex-husband moved due to job reasons. My dad thinks that I was chasing my ex-husband and that's why I went. Its not true.

He also makes fun of the classes that I take (Microsoft Excel) and blows things out of proportion (I just discussed the commute for my present job and he said that I would not take the job because of it.)

I know that I have to move out of his house soon. What is the best way to deal with such people except for ignoring it?

He keeps harping on my life, career and social life and thinks that he can fix it. I have told him not to, but he keeps saying mean, rude things. He says that I am lost and need direction.

I try to stay away from him...

Due to personal and mental reasons, im extremely depressed.
My mother hates to see me like this and I fear it might kill her because shes diabetic and sick. Im trying to change but i just need time. My state causes me to be angry at every little thing so i just spend my day sleeping, causing my mother to worry more. I have suicidal thoughts all the time. My partner walks out 5 years ago and went back to his x-girlfriend and i brought there son up age 11 as my own for the last 6 years because they dint want anything to do with him.
They move back in to the area 4 weeks ago and now my son wont tell me where he going he started lying to me he told me this morning he was going to his mates but his mate his just been round looking for him and said he has not seen my son allweek.

I told my son i dont mind if he see his parents i just want to know where he is.

He said he not seeing his parents but i think he is.

Ok i always want my mum to be proud of me... I no that my sisters and brother have hurt her in the past by lying, backstabbing and disrespecting her ... I have done everything she wants me to do EG: Leave School, Leave my friends which i never see anymore, Study Business Administration (which i hate), I dont have a BF coz she doesnt want me to, I never do anything she doesnt approve of... But she is never proud of me... I dont no what else i can do to make her proud of me... Any tips???

im 19, male living independently. i had a job at the library for 2.5 years, and got fired last month for discrimination. well, my ex-dad and i aint talked in months, because he gives my life too much BS. he tryna control me, still! well, cuz i aint returned his calls he sent me an email sayin he gonna go to my old job and ask if im there n for my work schedule. i neva told him i got fired, cuz i neva talked to him. i dnt wanna tell him anything, but i think somebody else told him. also, he said he saw me on the news when i protested in DC, but my friends that saw it on the news said they didnt see me. i never make it to public propoganda. somebody tellin him my information, and i think its my stepmom. they broke up, though. what should i do, he goin to the library, and afta that, he gonna prolly drive to my apartment, near the library...what can i do to avoid his BS. he gonna make me look bad and make me move in with him, but i cant. he gonna ruin my future and hurt me.

My father is laid up in the VA hospital rotting to death. My step mother appears to be waiting for him to die to get his disabilty check, inheritance and his 24 acres. She has her own estate passed on by her parents and it appears she is waiting for my father to die for his land. He was bed ridden for weeks and I came over and she stood there. I had to take him to the hospital ER, she went shopping. For Easter she never went to visit him. In fact she stated she would sign over any rights to him to be done with him. She shows no interest in her dying husband. I live in CT does anyone know any cases like this where a wife refused to get medical treatment for her husband whose toes were rotting off his body and who laid in his own urine for days? I am going to a lawyer tomorrow, but I would love some input, please.

My partner and I split up 6 months ago,her aunt had said to her she should get a little job whilst at college,on the way home she went balistic at me because I agreed with her aunt.At first I remainded calm and then I swore at her,she said she wanted to go to her Dads,she came back guns ablazing,shouting at me ,I asked her not to shout,I walked away,she dragged me back,shouting ,get here now.Her Dad came in and said I am a bully,I showed him my arm,he said ,ok put it away ,seen it now,but you swore at her yesterday.One of the reasons I asked him to go is because he was part of the problem with the teenage dramas,not part of the solution,how would you deal with this.?
