Why does My White Mom get Mad when I say I am Black?
If she didn't want me to say I was black she should have slept with a white man. I have brown skin and curly hair. She should realize that.

Do you have a problem with your mother-in-law? How do you deal with it?

Mines was crazy, still is... when me and my husband got married she tried everything in her power to break us up. She always made our buisness her buisness. And him being "The mommy's boy" always thought she was right. That lady was crazy, and she was beyond evil. She caused so much drama and confusion it caused our marriage to end. Most was because he listened to her and his behavior towards me. So he lost his wife. And she just helped him run from child support...crazy lady!!

I asked a question not to long ago about my baby's daddy not coming to see his daughter's like he should. I was told by many of you that I was doing the right thing by not letting him walk in and out of their lives. Now, my question is this: He called and asked if he could have them I said yeah but you have to pick them up at my sister's house (Which is right down the street) he says no I didn't have kids with her I tell him I don't want him to know where I live and he states I have to let him know. I don't think I do. We don't get alone and if he finds out where I live he will cause much trouble for me what do I do? Am I wrong for not telling him?

I take the kid on trips etc, and recently he has opened up to me that he likes to wearing, makeup, pantyhose, high heels etc.
He is pretty feminine, and now he wants me to buy him some clothes and makeup etc, so that he won't have to borrow his Moms. He wants me to let him dress when he is over at my apartment.
I don't want to betray his trust, but I know that his Father will go nuts.

It usually takes me months or even years to come to grips that someone I know died. But, my friend that just passed away provided me with tears of grief and sorrow in an instant... I keep thinking what made him so different? Is it because I am older now and understand death a little more or maybe because I am more emotional now than I was back then...

I am also very fascinated with death and I think that is another reason why it usually takes me a while to realize that someone is gone forever...

Ok I just asked this question how to be more of a mother figure than a friend.

But the case is...their mother is a *****...a psycho..she's f0cking mental!!

The oldest one is very smart and just knows EVERYTHING.
The little one...yes I think she would take her mother's side.

But what can I do to make myself a better mother figure to them since their OWN MOTHER can't!!

For girls only.. i know that some of you have help about my sitaution with my half-brother before. The thing is, it went from good to bad.I went to visit him for 2weeks holiday.Very lately he flirts with me.Once we slept together on a single mattress as I could sleep anywhere else, he press his thing against my butt the whole night & the next day he deny remembering it.then on sun he was poking & tingling me in hope to irritate me, afterwards we play smackin one another & he squeeze my thighs alot.He said that i got nice body & also on our last night together, he held my hand tightly to his chest. The day I left for home, he was looking quite miserable. we are really close and I know he is my nice, caring brother.
So girls, what do you think about it and his behaviour? He is not bad, but I know he care alot for me. I cant help having feeling for him and I suspect he does too for me.
So please help me..

This is for a project I'm working on. If possible, please answer with regards to UK laws.

If a mother suffers from a serious mental illness - i.e. schizophrenia, what actions are taken out against the patient and the children? If the mother is unable to care for the children, even though she is married, would social services get involved and take the children away? Would it differ if her husband was the biological father from if he was the step father?

I would appreciate as detailed an answer as possible, thanks!

I know that some of you people here have read my previous question & help with my problem about my half-brother.
the thing is when I went to visit him for two weeks easter holiday, things went from good to bad. Since I stayed with him, he have been acting out of sorts with me, like he flirts with me and one night we share the single mattress as options weren't available to me 2 sleep somewhere. He pressed his things against my butt the whole night, & next day he deny remembering what happens. then last sun he keep poking & tingling me in hope to aggravate me then all of sudden we resort to play smacking & alot of time he squeeze my thighs. he even make comments that i got nice body & the last night before I came home, he held my hand tightly to his chest when we were asleep.
so for girls only..what are your thoughts & opinions on his behaviour? I know that incest is totally wrong bt I know that I cant help bt developing feelings for him and I suspect he does for me. please do help me

Sons are always contributing to her cause physically & financially and it's expected. Not appreciated enough to even ask her deadbeat boyfriend to get out of her house for an occasional visit from her sons/grandsons. Cant stop by & visit without calling first because she may be partying. I have no respect. I'm very angry about her mistreating her son who will never say anything to her about it.

I left home to marry my husband 39 years ago. I was told by my father then that I was no longer a part of his family. After 9 years of marriage he contacted me and we got back together for appox. 5 years, but it was very rocky. When my son got very sick I called my father and told him but after 15 days and 2 surgeries later my father never called to see how he was. At that point I decided that the pain he was causing me was not worth the effort of keeping our relationship afloat. He's a very cold hearted person. I have 2 brothers whom I am also estranged from. My oldest brother and I have talked lately over the internet via Instant messanger. He and my other brother have said to at least call him and talk about anything but the past. Tell him things about my children and what they are doing in life. They suggested my children call him. because they don't want him to feel like no one cares. Ironic! I don't know what to feel for this man, but I know I still care even though I hurt

I am in my late 20's now. If I am now expected to claim the interest. I feel like I should just be given the money. She's offered it in a reluctant way. The money is not that much and came from parties and things when I was kid. I am already married so I don't know when it would normally be given to me. Actually it would of helped when planning the wedding.

his long lost He-Man toy figure!

I mentioned the story a few days ago about how he tried to "hide" it on me 20 years ago, dug a hole in our parents backyard, and ended up not being able to find it himself despite numerous digging attempts!

I brought it up in a joking fashion, yet he is determined to find it, claiming it is worth money nowadays ... (yeah sure, an eroded plastic figure buried for 20 years)

What do you think?

Trying to settle a score of sibling rivarly?

Mentally ill?

Nothing better to do?

I have been going through alot lately. I have finals coming up, and of course the end of the semester work load. I have Praxis tests soon as well figuring out summer classes I have to take. I have a minimum wage job working with kids that I like, but I am not making enough money. My boyfriend is away travelling alot lately. A parent of mine has caught drinking and driving and has to spend a total of 30 days in jail, which will cause them to lose their job...they are also very depressed and have been but our insurance wont cover anything but the regular doctor and they have failed my parent over and over throughout the years. My other parent and I are trying to keep my younger siblings clueless to the jail thing which is stressful. I just feel like alot is on my plate, Im only 19. My other parent doesnt want me to tell anyone about this but its hard not to talk to anyone. My bf wouldnt care anyway, if i tell him im stressed he just says "dont worry about it"-hes no help.....

I need to pass this class so I can graduate so thats why I stopped working for a while so I can concentrate on my grades becasue I can't afford to be getting bad grades in school. I want to graduate so I can go to college and prepare for the real world. They want me to be living in their hosue forever. But they don't know that I'm leaving the house right after grauation. I'm going to move in with my fiance he's going to pay for my college and university and we're getting married in June 2007! So this is what I want to do but I feel guilty becasue I have to help my parents out do I?

It's they way I've always been but no matter how irrational someone is being or unfair, even if I know on intellectual level it is nonsense, I still feel guilty about them getting upset. Its really a problem for me because people who know me tend to exploit this weakness, all you have to do is get mad at me, and I'll feel guilty doesn't matter if it's for a good reason. I would so much like to be person who could be like "you're full of crap" when people try to guilt trip me.

I've two exams to repeat but only told parents that i had one to repeat. i've just got the timetable and the exams are on two different weeks. telling the truth is not an option now. i regret telling the lie but i still believe it was for the best as i was feeling seriously down at the time myself without my parents adding to it. I seriously do hate lying and i'm not good at it the only reason i've got away with it so far is that they haven't questioned me. I do know it was wrong and stupid thing to do but at the time i did seriously think it was the best option so please no lectures and only serious answers cause am in crisis. my parents are real supportive but my dad has a really sharp tongue and it not just at me the whole family gets if it if one does something wrong. PLEASE HELP!!!
