Family - February 2007

I live with my parents but they are ok with the fact I want to move out. I do home school on a computer so if I were to move out i could take it with me and do school. I also don't need my parents to do the school, I just have to take the responsiblity to do it and I will. I have a job, money saved to move out and a place with a roommate lined up.

I want to go to the mall with my friends, but my dad thinks I am not old enough...I am a girl....going through pueberty, and right now I am in the anger stage....I NEED TO GO SHOPPING!!!! BUt my dad has no time to take me, I can't go with his girlfriend, and I have absolutly no clothes...HELP ME!!!

i go to college full time! and my parents pay for my car and insurance! i recently get quite my part time job! but i want to get on my feet! my mom constantly reminds of what a financial burden i am to her! ive let her talk and complain and ***** to me but i never talk to back or say anything to her! but im so fed up with it should i have the right to talk back at her and tell her off! or do u think its messed up! i mean i appericate what she does for me but the constant reminder of me being a burden can take a toll on you! shouldnt your kids be worth it!

Hey there my name is Michael, and this is my problem. My dad is always blaming my mom for cheating on him. I mean since they have been together for the past 16years, nothing but fighting and arguing over it. My dad was put in jail for 8years when i was 2 years old, he got out when i was 10, i am 16 now. Since then all i have heard is blaming, over this. Well tonight, my dad put up his radio, and recorded everything that was going on, while he was out of the house, he came home and listened to his type. He says he has been doing that for awhile, i had no clue he was or i would have broken his radio a long time ago..just to tick him off. Ok so he listened to his type..and asked my mom how many people called, how came in and out of the house, what was she doing. Now c'mon..this isnt normal is it? He even said that alot of guys voice record, and even video record their wives, now i know that isnt true...right? tell the truth have u ever done that, to ur wife? would u even do it? Continued

Hi i m yogesh n i have completed 1yr diploma course frm VLCC institute in this month only n i have not done graduation only 12th pass frm Open University. My father died when i was in class 4th. I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else. I am a senior in high school and last year my parents pressured me into getting a job so I would have extra cash so when my band toured in Europe I could have some cash in case of an emergency. Now I am in the last semester of my senior year and my mom is now telling me that I need to ask for less hours because she thinks it is effecting my grades. (I still have straight A's) My dad is indiffrent but won't get my mom to leave me be. Any suggestions?

he is grabbing my hair and he chased me around the table and im scared and im calling my mom and she wont pick up the phone. he left and he said hell be back in 10 minutes. i think hes taking out the laundry and putting it in the garbage..he keeps grabbing me hair and hurting me. and he keeps yelling at me and iscream when he hurts me. My family, mama & Aunt are nosey as hell. I'm tired of them trying to tell me how to run my life and criticising me. They think they're right. They gossip about others.

i told my mom i think i am depressed and she said part of the reason is cause i am in my room all day not talking to anyone when i am actully home. so i moved my comp out into the main room to show my mom that probaly wasn't the problem. well i moved it out here like 1 week ago. and now my mom is asking me to move it back in my room. wat the hell i thought she wanted me out here now she wants me back in my room. i don't get it. wat can i do about this should i move my comp back or something. i really don't like to talk to my mom so i don't wanna do that.

WHAT THE HECK?
my parents and i got in an argument and i was mad so i went upstairs and slammed the door (i know.. im a little ***** and diserved it..) but now my door is gone.. and showers are with a batheing suit on.. and i have no privacy AT ALL.. and theres 10 people that live in my house!!!!? i dont like it.. please dont tell me i diserved it because i know but...

any ideas on how to get it back? or how to ask for it back?

My 14 year old sister has been talking about her boyfriend nonstop and her school gets off at 2:30 p.m at school but comes home at 4:00 p.m is this a good or bad thing.Because shes always been so nice but now shes being so secretive and doesn't tell anyone anything.With what i know about him I don't think shes safe with him what do you think?what should i do?do i leave it alone?do i do something?Can somebody tell me what I am supposed to do?

Okay I have 2 kids with two different guys and I just recently started talking to my first childs father and I am with the second childs father and he took my daughter in as is own. I am talking to my ex and he hasn't had anything to do with his daughter, but we have been talking about the past and he said "I AM SORRY" which I have never heard him say to me or anybody else. Anyways I started getting feelings back for my ex and I don't know what to do because I do love the one I am with but there are problems we have been together for 3 years and he has hit me once and he drinks beer too much and before I started talking to my ex I was thinking about leaving....I am just so confused...What do you guys think?The only guys I have loved and have a child with both of them!!!!

Im 12 and I getting decent grades in school.all my grades are b or above exept for math because im in intergrated math which means im doin high school math when im in 7 grade. every time my dad sees my report card, he starts yelling at me and it gets real anoying. I'm 21 now and since I was 19, my father has been trying to reconnect with me periodically. However, he also yells at me, sometimes for no reason. But I feel like (a) it's a charade b/c he doesn't like me and (b) it was too late at 18 when he ruined my high school graduation. I also feel as though I don't need him and I may have never needed him.

Long-story-short...

My birth father and my mom separated when I was 10 months old..and diorced soon after that. I had visitation rights with my older sister for a few years, but then my mom got full custody of my sister and I. That was when I was about 4 or 5 I guess. Both of them re-married. Now, I am finnaly ready to met him after almost 20 years.
Complications: My adopted Dad and my mom have a child together (she's almost 11 years old now). and My older sister wants nothing to do with him..not to mention how my mom's heart will be put through a rollercoaster . I need to meet him. it is my right. (no matter how guilty I may feel) I am ready, and I really need this closure. I 'm almost ready to start a new chapter of my live with the man of my dreams, and I do not feel completely ready to give my future without knowing my past, and finding myself at peace with it. what do you think about:
1. writing an e-mail to him
2. calling him
3. meeting him in person after #1.

My wife's niece spends a lot of time on the phone, we live in a difrent state and mi wife, like any other family member, likes to call her sisters and catch up on things.
when my wife's niece answer the phone she always tells my wife to call back later or that her mom will call her back later but it never happens. my wife is upset but doesn't dare to bring it up, me personally can't say much since im an outsider but it does bother me that some of her family don't bother to realize what's really going on plus it is disrespectful to my wife. my wife always calls her family but they never call her back and she's afraid to bring it up because they would get upset. am i wrong for telling my wife she should bring it up hard and strong since this been happening for a while now ??
