My family, mama & Aunt are nosey as hell. I'm tired of them trying to tell me how to run my life and criticising me. They think they're right. They gossip about others.
My man tells me to stand up to them and put my foot down for myself. How can I show that I mean just what I said to stay out of my business?

Hmm theres nothing worser then medling family. The best thing to do is to get the courage to confront them all and tell them how you feel and that you deserve privacy and the ability to run your own life. And remember they may critisise, judge or mock you but the you have to not let them get to you , if they see how fustrated you are that will only make them feel acomplishing what they are meaning to do. Its your life not theirs dont let them ruin it.

i know how you feel my family is the same but all you can do is to tell them how you feel. let them know they are being intrusive it is your life and your old enough to do what you want with it. On top of that just try not to take any notice of them i know it gets frustrating but if you think your doing the right thing by you it does not matter what they think.

Your man is right. Do not listen to their gossip and do not spread any. Don't give any information to them about your life. If they hassle you, walk away.
