Yes you can move out, my step-sister did it at 17. But you do need someone old enough to enter into a legal binding contract, such as the one you'll be signing when you rent a place. Or ask if your parents can co-sign... that means if you screw up they will take all of the blame and repercussions. You could also talk to your parents about going through the courts to be legally emancipated, meaning you become your own legal guardian and your parents are no longer responsible for you in any legal aspect.

Well I am wondering the same thing and could also use some pointers, but you also have to worry about the bills, insurance, and health care. I am 17 and am about to move out with some friends to help with the bill. but even with my job between food, clothes, and my bills my money will be limited and I hope you understand it will be hard for a while, but I am sure you will do great.

You can't do it without a court order. They very rarely do it if there isn't anything wrong with your parents.
Your parents may let you, but if you get into any kind of trouble or even die in an car accident they can go to jail for letting you move out.

If your folks are ok with it, I see no reason you can't. They aren't going to report you as a run away. I suppose someone could cause you some problems being under age but it shouldn't even come up as long as you stay out of trouble.

If your parents approve you can move out. But unless you file for emancipation they are still legally responsible for you until you are 18. They may not choose to be responsible when they no longer have any control.

Yes you are of the age of majority and can do whatever you like, live wherever you like and go to school or not if you like.

I believe you can in Texas. I dont know if it varies by state. I'm guessing as long as you are legal age.
