i got a letter saying that florida was going to take away my ex's income tax's. HELLO he doesn't ever work on the books. how will i ever get the help my son needs if his dad is cheating the system????? thank you

If he doesn't file there is little you can do............other than contact the IRS and give them the evidence they need for tax fraud

Well, the first step would be in notifying the FL dept. of revenue that he is being paid under the table. This would force an audit, but not necessarily give you ANY monetary compensation. It would, however, make him more aware of the governments watchful eyes on his "income". I wish you good luck.

You can file for AFDC - if your qualify based on your income. iT is Aid to Families with Dependent Children- and he will at some point be required to pay it back.

It basically gives you the money you are supposed to be getting via child support.
