asked me to chauffeur him and his friends to the Prom. I think the only reason he asked me is because I bought a brand new Jaguar for Christmas last year. And for that reason I feel like he is using me to show off. I need some advice. What should I tell him?

I met my biological father when I was 21. I have seen him periodically over the past few years since. He is pretty clearly a serious alcoholic and he is living with his mother. He wants to be a big part of my life now that I have moved back to my hometown to go to law school, but I am very busy and I don't actually like him. For a while, he was calling almost every day, trying to come over to our house to hang out. I don't want to hang out and I don't have time. He is very nice to me, but we have nothing in common. NOTHING. I honestly can say I don't enjoy his company at all.
I feel very bad b/c I know he doesn't have much in his life and seeing me makes him happy, but I have a lot going on and don't feel like I should be emotionally responsible for a stranger.
It was not entirely his fault that he was not around when I was younger. My mother got married when I was two and told him not to come around. He called my grandmother a lot over the years to hear about me.

Being told from birth that I was a mistake and that I would never become of any importence. Starting out with a mother that did not understand the resposibility and a father that dared not to try.So then we set sail an older brother brused from the abuse a sister not old enough to remember and myself an infant in a bowl of confusion to find a home of our own.

this is rather long but I really need some advise, best answer gets 10points!!:)

Ok, my dad died 3 years ago, and in his will he stated he wanted my mom to live "comfortbly" and at her death everything to be split equally between my siblings and myself, since then my mom has wrote 5 wills, cutting out my brother completly, and leaving my cousin a significnt amount of money, she has also named her executor of the will and power of attorney over her living will, she has put her on her checkbook as well,

I feel as though she has taken advantage of my mother, but my mother cannot see that any time I bring it up she says "oh shed never take advantage of me shes a good person",

I dont really know what to do other than to talk to an attorney, so please if any one has some experience with this I would really appreciate it.

my mother is very moody, when she gets mad at one of us she threatens to cut us out of the will,
She is still living and I am going to contnue to talk to her.

Last year, when I was 12, I was a straight A student and was really cheery and always making people happy and was always around my family and just a good kid! Now this year, I am just so stubborn and bratty and never doing anything and all I can think about is guys and dating and texting friends and now I am getting terrible grades! Bunches of C's and some D's! My mom is really pissed at me too all the time and it's making me depressed because I never talk to my family because they're so mean grounding me for doing stupid things like making out which they say is wrong at my age which I think is so gay!!! I just am not the same! I am so irresponsible now too! I just can't seem to do anything right anymore or even be nice to any of my family! They say I have changed and I don't know why!?!?!? please help!

Will try to make a long story short here. My father recently died, I'm 19 and going to college, but during breaks I am living at home. My mother and I are not getting along, and I have done basically everything in my power to try and work things out with her, but whenever I try to discuss an issue with her she tells me I'm irrational, or that it was in the past and doesn't matter anymore, or she doesn't remember what I'm trying to talk about, and tells me it never happened. She went through a period where she told me everything was my fault, and she's been horrible to my friends, too. I suggested family counseling, she was against it but finally agreed but then when I gave her info on it she never bothered to pursue it, I'd need her insurance info to set things up. It'd really mess her up if I left, but I am always very depressed when I'm at her house, and we're always fighting so I'm wondering if it might not be best, but am not sure what to do. Is leaving wrong?

When you look back on your past, does it feel like yesterday? I mean, do you feel old because the years have added up or because you have different expectations of the future? When I look back it all feels like yesterday. I don't feel any different, I don't feel any depth.

His mother was a nutcase. She had a bad relationship and stuff and when she got pregnant her husband left her for a co-worker she felt it was unplanned pregnany's fault so she named the kid Richard, but his middle name is Egghead. Seriously. This isn't funny. Fortunately, her aunt found out she needed help financially and mentally so she called social workers, and now the kid is 7 years old and he's been adopted by some nice family... And they're gonna change his name and everything... This storyw as so touching, and I nearly cried when the kid told me.. I just thought you would all like to know.. Sorry if you wasted your time, but I jsut want people to see how certain parents can be so... mean.

She refuses to put it down, she has failed all her school classes, she will not talk to people in the house she text messages them, and her father ( my son) refuses to take the phone away from her. He feels guilty because her mother ( they were never married) recently passed away and he is a single dad who never knew he had a child until 8 years ago and had no idea how to parent. He treats her like an adult and she is a rude spoiled brat. He travels 2 weeks out of each month on business so she stays with us and she is terrible. She refuses to talk to us, she only comes out of her room to eat and use the restroom. I don't text message so there is no communication. I think she needed a spanking several years ago but it is too late. She NEVER had a normal childhood. Until my son found out about her she lived with her mom in a truck and with friends etc. Never had anything stable. Help

Recently, my parents called the cops on me and the suggestion was to take everything out of my room if I didn't cooperate.

I own much of the stuff in my room, can they do this with my own property even if I live in their home? BTW: I am 16.

The reason they did this was because I felt I was being unfairly treated. Before you go off and say that "Oh well at least your parents didn't abuse you when you were a child and give you a TV and cell phone and blah blah blah" remember, most kids nowadays have this so don't tell me to count myself fortunate if everyone else has one. Why should I consider myself fortunate for being alive if everyone else around me is? I could always be dead huh?

Anyways, Any advice on this? My parents think they have so much power over me now and I am really irritated, any rights I can exercise? The cop told me basically everything they could use against me, but nothing to protect myself!

Help is appreciated!

My friend doesn't drink every day, but he does drink pretty much every weekend. When he does drink, he drinks a whole lot and when he gets drunk he usually gets depressed and angry and therefore is an *** to me if I talk to him (I usually try to avoid calling on weekend nights just incase). Sometimes he even gets really paranoid and freaks out (that's if he's had A LOT). He refuses to quit drinking and his father is an alcoholic. I always considered an alcoholic to be a person who drank non-stop. What do you think?

I am a college student who lives with my dad, my aunt, and her boyfriend. I've been here for almost 2 years and I'm miserable. You see, my aunt has a bad drug problem and refuses to get a job. She has it in her head that she is the head of the house hold when she does nothing. She dosen't even clean the freaking house! I also have an uncle and a cousin who sell drugs. They use our house as a stash spot. I get so nervous that a bust will occur and I will be caught up in the mix of it. Not to mention, 5 months ago my aunt attacked me with her fist. I want to move out, but I have no $ (even if I did, I still have poor credit) and I don't want to hurt my dads feelings. We are very close and I love him very much. He has offered that the both of us can move out, but this is his home. It's is also the families home, so people are free to come and go as the please. I don't know what to do. The move I live here. The more depressed I seem to get, on top of the extra stress I have. What can I do

So my parents split up last may, and my mom has been seeing this guys since june. I do not mind the guy, but since she has been seeing him, i think she forgot how to be a mom. She hasnt cooked me or my bro a meal in like 2 months. Even though i am am 16 and can cook, and my dad always cooks when we are over there, it is still very upsetting. What teen should have to cook for her and her brother after school and work? She also never grocery shops or is ever home to clean. It is all left up to me. I'm only one person, and i'm only a teen. What do i do???
