Well, I'm a guitar player, Ive been playing for 9 years and I'm only 15, but i want to expand my talents and buy a drum machine or complete set, but my dad wont let me, what would be the best way to get it with his permission? Should and how would I talk him into it?

I'm assuming this may be on the expensive side. That could be his reasoning. Maybe he thinks it'll be TOO MUCH noise in the area you practice. There are then several suggestions:
One is offer to pay him back or help pay for it yourself. You can do jobs now to earn the money and you can get a real job at a fast food place or something when you're 16.
Second is assure him you will keep the volume down while practicing(and do it)
Maybe you can play someone else's drums you know. Get a recording of you playing and let him listen to it. Then, if you're good enough he may reconsider.
Seeif he'll let you RENT a set of drums or machine to give it a TRIAL period of a few weeks. Use this time to show him how good you can be and not too loud, etc. Explain to him it is just a triall period for say 1 month and let it go from there. Tell him if he still doesn't like it you will return it, nothing more to owe or have to worry about selling or being in the way around the house.
