What would you do if your mother and father in law comes into your house and bad mouths you infront of your kids.I have respect for them and never said nothing bad to them.
I have also never done there son wrong in anyway,and my husband always makes me shut up if they say bad things to me.I can not defind my self but he will not perteck me either.What would you do if this happens to you?I am adoptioning out since I have 6 wonderful children and they do not like this,In-laws comes into our home and tells me that she should become a foster parent so her house could would get cleaned.I cried over this as my children do one chore a day and its not going to hurt my kids.I am a stay at home mom and I do everything for my kids,husband and house inside and out.I am very hurt what would you do,cring in Idaho

Why do you let these people in your house? If they have a key, change the locks!!
Why are they badmouthing you? Just to be mean? geez....! Your husband sounds like a jerk, if he's not helping you out. Are you physically abused by anyone, or are your kids? If yes, get to a womens shelter PRONTO. Why do you respect these people? You should tell them to go straight to H E LL! Only YOU can stick up for yourself, and letting your kids see people walk all over you is NOT a good lesson for them to learn.
If they are being mean for no reason, I would give it right back to them. Or, I would ask them, why are you saying stuff like this? Do you like being mean? Does it give you some false sense of power? Anyone can be mean.

Your husband is wrong for letting his parents verbally abuse you in front of your children. He is married to you and needs to break the apron strings with Mom and Dad. If he can't break the apron strings, then he should move back home with Mom and Dad and be a good little boy. (In other words, you need to try to get him to attend marriage counseling, and if that does not work then file for divorce)

Joe said it all. But I advise that you don't listen to your husband when he tells you to keep your mouth shut. It's a free country, freedom of speech, defend yourself. But make sure you tell your kids to go in another room first.

If your hubby allows this to go on than he's no man. Get you a job and save up some money and move out. I would not put up with it.

I'd toss them out on their *** and tell hubby this is my house and no one disrepects me in my house. If that is a problem for him I'd toss him out too. People would be crying and it sure as hell wouldn't be me.

you should speak up for yourself anyway ! your hubby needs to quit being a wuss & stand up for you too !! if he can*t i*d leave ! you have to be miserable !!
