When you have the baby, you WILL have full custody. You don't have to do anything. If the father wants to have custody, HE will have to go to court to prove that he would be the better parent.

If someone else ( like a family member or one of the father's family) wants to take the baby from you, they would also have to prove that you are not able to take care of the baby.

Make plans now for how you will take care of the child. Where will you live? How will you get money to live on? Will you need to go to work? Do you have someone to watch the child if you do go to work?

If you have a plan, then you can answer questions if anyone thinks you will not be able to take care of the child.

No, not unless he voluntarily terminates his parental rights which cant be done until the child is born

You dont have full custody because you are single-no such luck

Be careful because if his family or friends know you are pregnant they can contact him and he can create problems from Germany.

Does he know that you are pregnant-is he in the military. You can have child support garnished from that check

This may not be what you want to hear but hopefully it will help

If he said he was going to take baby with I would get a restaining order

IF YOU AREN'T MARRIED YOU ALREADY HAVE FULL CUSTODY BUT IF YOU ARE THEN YOU WILL HAVE TO GO TO COURT. BUT YOU ALSO WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE EVERYTHING WORKED OUT BEFORE HE LEAVES THAT WAY HE CAN'T TAKE YOU TO COURT LATER.
