Family - January 2007

my mom droped me off from school at 3:30pm its 9:58pm now. She said she was going to work but when i called they said she never came in!!!i called her cell no answer!! I called her boyfriend he knows nothing about this and really dosent seem to care. Im getting really worried!!! im 13 and i have no bothers or sisters to talk to right now. this isnt like my mom to not answer her cell and not come into work what should i do!!!

My mother....what can i say!?

She nags and b*tches about anything she can think of. And once she's done with that... she brings up stuff from the past. She turns one argument into 5 ones that had nothing to do with the first one or what i did.

I forgot to put a can of drink in the fridge after i drank one. She didn't say "could you please replace it" she went off her rocker and so i went to put 3 cans in the fridge because they were all that was left and she goes "Thats ridiculous i can't drink three cans at once" - who cares, they're in there now - but nope, that was a problem 2 - so i went to take them out - "No dont bother about taking them out"

She drives me insane and to put it nicely is a b*tch

Yeah she's my mum..... but i'm her daughter shouldn't she at least treat me with respect.

Does anyone else have this problem?? (i feel better for sayin all that)

this is how it goes... im a highschool working student, athletic and intelligent (as they say ^.~) everything seems to be perfect but not with my family... we live in my moms boyfriend and hes so nice... but it seems and i feel like im not happy anymore... i felt like i want to run as far as i could... it also affects my studies now... i feel so hopeless... i want to stow away far far away from home so no one will find me... i want to go to another place but i cant travel alone coz im underage... im also considering living with my aunt but i cant coz she will surely tell my mom... im also considering living with my friend but they know my mom and surely sent me back home... but i dont want to stay here anymore... wut can i do??

Ok, I have two childern (I had twins), and about 4 months after I had them the father ran off. Shortly afterwards I went to Public Aid to try and get help for child support. My kids are know 14 months old, and I still haven't received anything. When I call and ask whats up, they tell me he quit the job he had. He has done this quite a few times, and they tell me there is nothing they can do about it. Now the last time I talked to them, they told me that they no longer know where he's at. So while I'm at home taking care of two childern he's out sleeping around, riding his motorcycle, and having a good time. I don't think it's fair, and I'm doing all I can think of Just so I can get back on my feet, but it doesn't seem to be good enough. And to top it all off someone has been vandilising my car. Broke side merror, slashed my front tire, and dented my hood. I have no money, and can't get my kids into a daycare so I can go look for a job. I just dont know what to do, can any one help me?

I'm at my witt's end here. Hubby and I recently started talking to my sister-in-law last year after not speaking for almost 7 years (she and the rest of his family caused a lot of problems, tried to split us up etc) she apologized and we let her because we thought we were moving out of state, well that didnt happen. Now she calls us all the time, she's too lazy to work so she went to a shrink and now she gets ssi for "bipolar" (i'm not not knocking on bipolar people, only those who fake it to get out of working in the real world" she's always calling us, she sent one of her evil nasty daughters to stay with us for a week against my will and we almost split up over that, he treated me like crap around her. now she's "dying" of cervical cancer, and has my hubby wrapped around her finger, she has a hubby and a life but she keeps bugging us. she's threating to sue doctors because of her own stupidity and negligence. I just want her to leave us alone, hubby is always defending her.

whenever she talks to my brother on the phone and I'm in the room she acts very secretive and uncomfortable. I always know she is talking to him because she acts this way. My brother is very secretive and always try to hide things from everyone (paranoid). His famous words "don't tell anybody". Is this normal for a mom to act?

This may sound sick but I caught my 16 year old brother masturbating to a picture of Maria Sharapova in the nude in our basement recreation room. I found it repulsive he left the door opened and had tons of her pictures out with baby oil, hand lotion and other lube. I am offended by this and he is begging me not to tell mom and dad. I am 26 and I really dont want to talk about this with him. I thought he watched ladies tennis cause he liked the sport but now it seems as if its just to stare at Marias butt or legs. Eww. because without the medicine i will continue to pass out with no warning which can be fixed by taking 2 medications but my mom says i cant have them because they are not natural the only side effect was bloody nose because every once in a while i will pass out during class and it is very imbarasing and that also means i cant drive until im 18 and a legal adult then i can get the meds but i need them now how do i get them

We've always stuck together on hating our step mother and now shw wants to get to know her. Well, at least that's what my sister tells me. She said that she can't hang out with me while she's working on a relationship with the drag-queen because my "bad attitude" could influence how she speaks to or thinks about our step mother. She thinks that dad will be happy with her if she makes the effort. I think it doesn't matter and that we should just keep on hating her. We've done it since we were teenagers and I think we shouldn't break a 10 year streak. I think my sister should still hang out with me even though she's faking a relaitonship with our step-disaster. What do you think?

My mom and sister want to go see this play with my sister's friend and her mom. I honestly have no desire to see this play-whatsoever. However, my mom and sister have been commenting that I don't spend enough time with them. It is true that I have been going out with my friends more, but I honestly do not want to go. Either way, I look like an a$$ or b*itch for not going. Should I suck it up and make everyone miserable, or just skip so I'm not wasting $90 on a ticket?

The old witch won't let the kid anywhere around me. She tells my dad that I'm a bad influence because I cuss, smoke and especially becasue I can't stand the old witch. I think she's afraid that I'll tell the kid how much I hate her or that I'll be mean to the kid. Well, I have a kid of my own and I'm not mean to her. I won't be mean to my half sister either. She--step mom--- doesn't like it that I call her my half sister. she says that it makes it sound like she's not a whole person and that it will damage the kid to hear me say that. she told me that I am taking her son, keep him with me, whiel her son goes to her place every week. I don't but rarely due to past experience and studies.
shell ask my husband to invite my mom in law to our house because culturally we have to invite them.
especially my mom in law always complain to me and to my husband that we don't want her to come to our place, I personally didn't forget her harm when I was in the end of my studies the last semstre where I could be failing my course and my husband losing alot of loney, I can't handle the failure, I've been through it before because my mom and uni iN Lebanon, were bad support to my studies, I was totally unable to think clearly an pshycologicly very depressed.
so now my last semsestre is close but I am afraid that the pressure form my mom in law side will make the study hard for me and hard to put my abilities all together and acheive better marks and pass.

All children cry, and they have children of their own, but I've always wondered if they think something is going on.

We love our daughter, and treat her like a queen, we would never harm her in any way, in fact we have trouble telling her no at the store. She is a very happy, healthy baby.

I am just concerned about our neighbors, we live in a duplex and the walls are thin. Am I being paranoid ?

I am currently living with my Dad & Stepmom. My stepmom is making my life a living hell but I just moved back in with my dad after not talking to him for 8 years. ok here is the thing , I have a step daughter she is 18 still my sweetheart , we are very close , however she justgot into alot of trouble and i mean jail time . She wont let me tell her dad and she wont tell her dad I am the only one who knows . Maybe its not that drastic but....

I have been dating my brother friend behind his back.. reason being that i didn't think my brother would agree. I had planned on going up to my brother and just asking if i had permission to date his friend... but chickend out and never did.

Now my mums found out, and has been nagging about how i am a bad person, how i put him before my family, and how even if we do get together she's never going to speak to him and will never be welcome near her again.

I'm planning on saying something to my brother really soon, and i realise i should have done it ages ago, i do feel bad, but haven't been putting him before my family. familys what matters most.

But in saying that, if family is what matters most.... don't you think everyone should let me date him if i please? i can't help who i like and if he makes me happy, i would think family would be happy for me. if i have to decide i'll pick family, but i'll be heartbroken
