Well, a first birthday is soooo special, you should have something engraved for her. The other stuff she won't save and remember, but something from her special Aunt would be perfect!! How about a wooden crayon box with her name on it and it should say "love, Aunt..." something she can use for a very long time. My 8 year old still uses his engraved crayon box, it's awesome. Not too expensive either. GOod luck!

Lots of toys to keep the kids occupied but don't go overboard save a lot of the excitement for the 3rd or 4th birthday.

Have a simple party and film it. I did it for my son and now he loves to watch it.
