This may sound sick but I caught my 16 year old brother masturbating to a picture of Maria Sharapova in the nude in our basement recreation room. I found it repulsive he left the door opened and had tons of her pictures out with baby oil, hand lotion and other lube. I am offended by this and he is begging me not to tell mom and dad. I am 26 and I really dont want to talk about this with him. I thought he watched ladies tennis cause he liked the sport but now it seems as if its just to stare at Marias butt or legs. Eww. Do I tell mom and dad?

I have a 14 year old daughter and a 17 year old son. They have seperate rooms thou. My kids respect each others privacy. I feel you should be more assertive and tell your sister that you would like more privacy when you are naked and she is not to enter the bathroom / toilet when you are in there. I think you should talk to your parents too and express the need for your own space. Your sister is very immature for a 20 year old girl. (she needs to grow up) and become the older respectable sister!

I'm not going to be too serious when answering this one, but I can tell you, from the vividness in which you've written it, you can be a Hollywood script writer or story teller. You have quite the talent and this real life episode could make many people laugh as it's real life that we all can identify with.
What you've also revealed as an example, is that our society is so sexually repressed that we brain wash our pubescent kids into believing that masturbation it's some god awful sin.
He is in a place in his life where he needs to figure out how to express his sexual tension and if does not do it... It's not good for him to repress it.
However, for your sake...
Just tell him that it would be considerate to do it in his room in private with the door locked or you will tell mom and dad... strictly on the basis of him having some kind of common sense on choosing a time and place to masturbate.
Poor dumb kid. He doesn't know what hit him. But, it's all a part of growing up.

What should you do about it? Nothing! It's not YOURS to DO anything about! You're 26 and still freaked out learning people masturbate? OK so maybe he should have done a bit more to insure privacy, but it's not like you woke up and he was doig it next to your bed as he watched yousleep! Chill out, it truly is no big deal. No you don't tell mom or dad. Good grief you are an adult, act like one! Tell your brother if he wants to get off then to take it into his bedroom with a closed door like everyone else on the planet.

If you are that old, you should be more mature and understanding. Grow up and realize that masturbation is a natural activity that the overwhelmingly vast majority of humans engage in or have engaged in....You should not make him feel bad. This would be wrong on your part.

Keep your mouth shut..!! Wish that when you saw him you had just left quietly. I found my 15 yr old son that way but he didnt see me and i just turned around and went back to my room. This is nothing wrong with a teen age doing this. Just dont say anything. THis is natural. And he has to let off steam or sexually tension. Leave him alone and dont say anything to him again about this. Trust me it will be Ok..
