The old witch won't let the kid anywhere around me. She tells my dad that I'm a bad influence because I cuss, smoke and especially becasue I can't stand the old witch. I think she's afraid that I'll tell the kid how much I hate her or that I'll be mean to the kid. Well, I have a kid of my own and I'm not mean to her. I won't be mean to my half sister either. She--step mom--- doesn't like it that I call her my half sister. she says that it makes it sound like she's not a whole person and that it will damage the kid to hear me say that. So far dad has agreed with her probably because he wants to make sure he has somewhere to sleep at ngith. Anytway, I want to get to know my half sister. How do I talk dad into bringing her around me?

I don't want to get to know the old witch, but she can't keep me away from my half sister. She has not right to do that.

its the way you express yourself. no self-respecting mother would allow her child near you. especially knowing that you hate her and are going to bad mouth her every chance you get.
i truly think the only reason you want to get to know "the kid" is to spite your step-mother. by what you are saying, i really think your daddy sees this and probably won't allow you to cause trouble.
he doesn't want his young daughter to turn out bitter like you apparently are.

and those poorly instituted mentally dysfunctional all and sundry remains having infants? what supplies? possibly they ought to easily end this nonsense now and concentration on the youngsters that exist already? it is why i won't be able to take mom and dad too heavily, many are actually not purely unwell arranged to develop infants yet are unwilling. hum, there are such colleges as fostering.....

It sounds like you have some serious unresolved anger/fear/guilt regarding the divorce. It might benefit you to talk to someone trained to help. Or even just write your (honest) thoughts and feelings down in a journal and see what's really going on in your head.
People here aren't really being mean to you. You are setting yourself up for some harsh comments because of your completely negative attitude.

do you think your lack of respect has anything to do with her attitude? does not matter if you like the lady or not, you need to respect this lady, change your attitude and respect this lady, for she is your dads wife, quit being a brat and grow up, you are still in the " id " stage of life, where everything is about mememememe and no one else...does not matter if she respects you or not, be the bigger person and get to know her, show her you at least care for her, if that does not work...you two need to seek a pro in family council, for you two have some serious bad blood between you
