Family - December 2006

my brother has always been the "favorite" in the family, and he does so much sh*t and gets away with it..i do the littlest thing, and they act like i killed someone. i hate how my brother gets all the attention too, he just got arrested; i'm not saying i don't feel bad for what hes going through right now, but my parents can never seem to be mad at him like hes some kind of angel and it pisses me off..hes been like this all his life, hes 24. everything he does is always better than me..we look alike, but hes the better looking one, we both like to write, but hes better at it..grr it makes me soo mad. there is something about him that makes it so you can't be mad at him for too long, and my parents give him money all the time and just keep giving into him. i love my brother but i think i'm getting jealous. any advice on what i should do? should i tell my parents the way i feel?

my dad is 72 years old and has a bad heart condition. Lately his wife (30 years younger) has started being really mean to him (talking trash and being rude) She even starts screaming fights where he ends up taking nitro pills.. What does it seem like she's up to? They have property and he wants to sell it and buy another place in his home state while she wants to go to the east coast. Dad's doctor told him that a humid atmosphere will kill him in his current condition and that's just where she wants to move. Any thoughts???

Can you kill your mom or dad by not loving them?I mean never kissing, hugging/touching them and always saying you hate them and telling them to drop dead almost every day?My friend does this to her parents and she does it to her dad.He is our college physics teacher. We are both in the same class.She does it to him all the time and he used to be soo cheerful and playful. But my friend (his daughter) called him a geek in class. One day she told him to drop dead in lab & was only trying to help her set up an experiment .That day I almost cried because he was so shocked and hurt and went into his office and sat there with his head in his hands. It was SO SAD.
Maybe it isnt my business but he is my teacher and I do love him (as a human and friend). I've known him all my life and he is friends with my parents. His daughter is my best friend since we were 3 years old.But she is going to kill her father by means of shear meanness to him. What should I say to make him believe she loves him?

i left on my own free will?

but he told me if i stayed there and they found stolen goods which werent nothing to do with me?would i get arrested for it tho

Her brother is my husband. I find it inappropriate, and ask him not to hold hands with her when I am present. Gross or what!! I would never act like that with my big brother- same age difference. Why don't they see it the same way?! How can I show him its not good?

I got caught driving my car about six months ago without a license or valid insurance. (I own the car but only my wife is insured and licensed to drive it) I received a letter informing me of my impending court date next month a few days ago....... and then today I got caught driving the car again under the same circumstances!! I know I’m an idiot and very very stupid not to have taken my test but money has been very tight and....... I have no real reasons I’ve just been an idiot. I'm after sensible informative answers please as my wife is currently going through a course of IVF and I am very scared that I might be going to prison at this critical time in both our lives.

As a child my father molested me and my siblings.He has never admitted it or asked for forgiveness.It hurts me because he had alot of other good qualities and in my mind I think it would be easier if he was evil all the time.But when that's the only dad you have you wonder why.But if he ever came to me and said he was getting counseling and that he admitted what he did then I think that would be a very big step.Do you think you could let someone back into your life under those conditions?

My mom hit me yesterday afternoon. I got home from school and I was already grounded so I couldn't go outside, so anyway I get into a fight with my brother and my mom tells us each to go to timeout and I told her to make me. She's said to me that's it, your getting a spanking. She warned me about a week ago but i didn't think she was serious. My little brother was in the corner and my mom came over to me and told me to follow her up to my room. I told her no and she tried to pull me and i said i'm not going anywhere. She then grabbed me by the neck and by my ear and this hurt like hell and managed to drag me over to a chair in the room were in. She then started going for my pants and I'm like what the hell are you doing.

My husband sometimes says that being a mom is really easy and i dont think so. Its 25 hrs a day i dont even get to take ashower by myself because my hubby says its my job.Every once in ablue moon he will do it and he never watches my son so i can have a break i have to ask my mom to do it sometimes i wish i had the luxury of just doing whatever the hell i want like him. He takes off all the time. But then i look at thomas and realize what i have with him is so much more special than freedom. I just wish i could stop being so frustrated with his dad and get more help But how?

My future sister in law is evil. We both have babies, mine is 9 mnth, her's is 8.Both girls. Everything is a competition.She got mad when we bought the same crib and when I bought it, it was not like I planned it. it was on sale.Not a big deal.

I also have to work with her. Before I went to work with her, I didn't know her true colors. She is the head tech at a dialysis unit at the hospital. Not the supervisor tho.
Now she is always talking behind my back at work to everyone( by the way, she talks about everybody) if she gets mad at me outside of work.. for stupid and childish things and trys to always get me in trouble and trys to get everyone to hate me. She even talks to my fiance (which is her husband's brother) and tells him I don't do anything at work and he needs to talk to me about it. I bend over backwards at work. I get bad anxiety around her cuz I am afraid I am going to do something wrong.

And then she calls me for advice on things and I always give it to her. HELP!?

She got her electricity shut off today because she makes poor desicions with her money, like buying a tanning bed, food for her grown daughter, things she does not need, etc. She is not trustworthy and I do not want her in my home when I or my husband is not home too. I do not want her to have a key because she will give it to her daugter who does drugs and is not allowed in our home. I have agreed with my husband that she can shower and sleep there after we get home from work and then she has to leave in the morning, which is fine because she works. Am I being generous enough or am I being selfish? She also has two dogs that are not housebroken. I would also like to know from the people who answer if you are Christian or not. We are...and that is why I feel like God may want us to help her more than I feel like I can give. I do not want to put my home in danger. I am 19 weeks pregnant and am not sure if I can handle this stress.

He's excellent student, doesnt get in trouble, teachers and friends's parents like him very much. Apparently a great boy, but not a Man. Very sensitive, too pure, not a normal teen his age. Hes much more into solidarity than into competition. He knows many girls but has never had sex, says he's not emotionally ready for it and will feel guilty if he has sex w/ a teen girl. He thinks this is wrong and thinks OK people, even males, remain virgin until they find someone they really love. He doesn't seem to be a gay, but some of his attitudes are not of a male. For example, he's kinda good at Math and in a church helps children in need w/ math. He really worries about those children, sometimes gives up going out w/ friends to help them. He treats his mom w/ love and last saturday even went to the movies w/ her. A 15 yo boy going out w/ his mom!! She loves this, says she's proud of him. I'm disappointed, I have a good son but cant say hes a real man, I avoid talking about him w/ my friends

my mom and dad are getting a divorce and my dads girlfriend thinks she knows how to be a mom but she doesn't have any kids
she lives with me and thinks that its okay to yell at me all the time. my dad doesn't do anything about it because she lies to him and tells him that she didn't yell at me or my brother. my dad believes her over his own kids. Is that right or should he listen to his kids adn make her leave?
