Going to the school and talking to a boy or maybe even a principal will not do any good i think. İt may help for this case but for long turn this is a very very false thing to do. believe me i have had some experience in those things. İnstead try to encourage him to cope with his problems alone. I mean that this is just the beginning of your son's life and in future he will have much more problems to solve and you may not be there to fuss over him that time. The idea of taking him to some kind of fight classes seems all right. You should understand that this is not just about pushing. this is about defending himself generally. you and your son should find the solution of the problem together. Try to find out why he does not want to defend himself. Therefore I send my best wishes for u both.

In this day an age it's hard for kids to defend themselfs. I have three boys and have tought them to defend themselfs and sometimes it helps but sometimes it makes it worse. Yes i feel that he should learn to defend himself but teach him the right way. If your son dosen't learn to defend himself he will be known as the underdog and all the so called (bullys) will pick on him. If you would like to talk more about this I will try and help as much as i can my boys are know 21, 16, 14. you can email me at

Maybe sign him up in some Asian fighting form classes. Not to beat the children up (they actually teach you NOT to use it for violence) but to build up his self esteem. I've seen this work for children who are victims of bullies.
