I have yet to see my grandma's will, and she has been gone for over 10 years. I am a step grand-daughter..and yes, I was in her will, as were my sons, and husband. My step dad died long before his mom, and one uncle had it in for my dad ..
We are doing our wills now, and each son will have an unofficial copy of it. The executors will have official copies.
Can you ask your mom, or another relative about the will? Seems you may just need to seek out an attorney, and do the whole probate thing, sadly.

Check with the family's lawyer. He would usually have the original in order to get it approved in the Probate Court, which is what would settle any disputes about who got what, etc.

If grandpa didn't have a lawyer, but made the will himself on his computer, see if he saved a copy of it there and you can then even print yourself one out.

If grandpa only hand wrote it out, you are out of luck in finding it until whoever has it allows you to see it.

Try the courts. You're grandpa may have file a copy with Probate court or your jurisdiction's equivalent.
