I recently came home from Iraq, and my wife whom I was suppose to beable to trust was not here. She opened accounts in her own name and wrote checks out of our account to it, she even managed to get my payroll out of my account the day after i returned leaving me zilch. She bought a truck that i would not have done because it was double the payments of our car, she loaned her parents money that i would not have done, I could go on forever. I know there are laws protecting the eldely from being cleaned out and recourse if they did, but what about us military? You are suppose to trust your spouse.

I do not wish to be too nosy, but I would love to hear what it is that people like about their parents. Do you approve of their lifestyle, their taste, their social life, their spiritual beliefs .... or is it that they live a beautiful life .... or have a lovely home.... or have a nice family (you included) ... or are they generous with money ... with their time, with their concern for you (regardless of how old you are) .... do you think they stand behind you and encourage you to be who you are and to do your best (any of the above?????) Is either of them a teriffic cook, or do they go on wonderful vacations and take you with them? Are they considerate of you? Do they help you cope with the world by teaching you good manners, helping with your studies ..... or are they supportive of your marriage, if you are of that age ... do they like your children? Are you welcome in their home, if you are on your own or married?
Are they beautiful and glamorous? Please? Ta!

I don't know...the guys want to come over and watch Indiana Jones tommorow night and my sister wants to come over because she likes one of them and I don't know if that is a good idea because that movie has a lot of violence in it and there is these kissing scenes between two unmarried people and I don't know if that is appropriate. Dad and I usually cover her eyes during the inappropriate parts but I want to be able to enjoy the movie with my buddies and it would be crowded so my sister might have to sit on my lap which I don't mind because she is really petite but you know the guys might make some sicko incest comment and crap like that....what should I do?

I need quick and fast answers! My family is messed up! 3 of my siblings ran away earlier, a storm started, and i guess they knew that they couldn't stay outside in the storm! They were on their way back tot his house when one of my siblings got struck by lightening while he was running! He hid under a tree, he's too young to understand that lightening can hit tall trees, the lightening hit the tree, as my sibling was trying to get away, the tree fell on his leg, my other siblings that were outside with him, noticed him lying there! They carried him back to the house, we have no success to a phone here, we don't own a car and plus we don't know where the hospital is! WE NEED HELP RIGHT NOW, i'm scared about my little brother! He fainted, he's barely breathing and we just don't know what to do! help please! This is no lie! If you have a heart at all, then you'd see that we need help! we can't do much here, we did everything we can! Thanks to all those caring pleople who help us!

I am 29 and married to the man of my dreams. We have been waiting to have children (finances, fun, etc...) I am having a crisis because I want so badly to have children and I have just been recommended for the job of my dreams. If I take it, I will have to make a two year commitment (it includes working on my Master's Degree--and I have to be employed for the program).

My goal has always been to be home with my children until they are school age. I missed my mom growing up, and I intend to give up everything necessary in order to be home with them.

What would you do in my situation...put a hold on the job (and possibly miss the opportunity) or put off having children to accomplish this task??

Anybody make a similar decision and have regrets??

My sister and I are very close to my aunt. She is my dad's sister. But, we have also known my uncle since we were little. They have been married for ten years with 3 kids. He recently cheated on her. We all found out that he has been with this other woman for over a year. It was devastating to our whole family. These kinds of things don't really happen in my family. They're trying to work it out and we're going to see them for the annual Christmas at my grandma's house. How do I act around my uncle? I am SOOOO angry with him, but I don't know how to hide it. What do I do?

So I wrote a poem for my Aunt please let me know if you like it.

Many years have come and gone
and I miss you like crazy
Everyday thinkin' about
would I ever see you again?

Mom Kept me from seeing you
and I don't understand why.
All those years without you here.
I just wanted to cry.

I missed you and needed you
to be in my life
I was kept far away
you were removed from my sight.

I found you at last
and it has changed my world.
I love you so much
and I always will.

Now that your found
I don't ever wanna let you go
cause' I need you in my life
please just stay with me.

I missed you and needed you
to be in my life
I was kept far away
you were removed from my sight.
you were removed from my sight.

I'm a part time nanny for a 17 month old but i HATE my job. I'm in college and off until January 8th. The mother works at home, and so she is always home, interupting us, and the little boy is VERY misbehaved. The mother never gets out and often spills all of her problems to me. The little boy never plays and only runs after his mother screaming. I get paid alright however I have 2 other jobs which pay me almost double. I am beginning school/work again with her in 3 weeks and I want to quit before then. I cannot be honest and say I'm miserable and her son is awful so how shoudl I quit? Any personal experieneces or comments from parents who liked the way their care provider ended things. Thanks everyone!

I am the oldest of three sisters and my middle sister is very self-absorbed. She is constantly being rude to my youngest sister and myself. She calls us fat and ugly all the time. We're really upset and fed up with her and don't know how to handle the situation. She is also rude to our parents. She wouldn't even chip in $5 for our parents Christmas present. She has tons of money but wouldn't even consider spending it on anyone but herself. My parents don't say anything to her either. My youngest sister and I are extremly fed up and don't know what to do. Please help

I go to visit my Dad at night for the first time in a while (I mostly go in day time). Well, these residents where running in and out of each others rooms all night long, they are having sex with each other. I went back the next day to speak to the head nurse and she said she knows they do this but there was nothing she can do. After some questioning I found out what they do, they each put their false teeth in two buckets (Men & Women) then they each pick a set and that's who you get to have sex with that night...how shaeful, some of these people are 85-90 years old. As I walked with Dad down the hall he yells at some old lady and say's...you wanna walk the monkey??....what does that mean??

What would you do?

My parents don't like eachother anymore and it's breaking my heart. They've been together for 24 years and have been our rock, but I know the past 4 years have been wearing on them and it's finally worn down on them. My mom is becoming meaner each day and my dad is becoming more resentful towards her. My mom and i are close, but her rudeness is obscene, And i love my dad, he is a teddybear and would do anything for anyone, and he's becoming bitter and this is not him. This is not either of them. My heart is breaking and I have no idea what to do anymore or say to either of them.

At the present time my mother babysits for my five year old son. I am currently in the process of getting back with my ex wife. My mother hates this. She has threatened to take my son away from me if i don't give up on my relationship with my ex.

I have also given my mother an ultimatum. I have told her that. Roy-Lynn will change her work schedule so that she can be home at night with our son while I work and I will be home with him during the day while Roy-Lynn works. Thus my mother will not have to babysit for us anymore. And she will have a harder time getting our son from us.
I hated to have to do it this way but I will not let my mother or anybody else dictate who I am going to be with. This is my choice plan and simple my mother has to respect that.

I have informed her that if she fights me on this and loses she will not only lose her grandson she will lose me as well. I am a grown man and have the right to make the decisions I want to make.

Was I to harsh? advise.

My uncle remarried a few years ago and now has a step-son that NO ONE in my family can stand. He is lould, whiny, demanding, extremly annoying, gets in everyones stuff and hits people. His latest stunt was on Thanksgiving when he hit my husband below the belt. He is 9 which is old enough to know right from wrong. His mother was sitting right there when he hit my hubby down there and she did nothing to the little brat. She never does anything to disicipline him when he behaves badly. I am dreading Christmas because she will have him this year. No one in my family will say anything to her about this because they don't want to upset my uncle. Being around him gives me anxiety attacks which are really painful so just to ignore the situation is not an answer. They were my family long before she came into the picture so I shouldn't have to give up my Christmas with my family because of this but I don't know what else 2 do. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Today, my brother gave me some t-shirts from his college book store. I'm shocked since me and my brother don't have a very close relationship and he's pretty much never given me anything. I remember that I had bitched about how he never brought stuff back from Indiana, but I had no clue that he'd actually bring something back.

My mother doesn't really regard him part of the family anymore. So, I don't think it's a good idea to tell her. But in the end she's going to get pissed and find out.

What should I do to resolve this very akward situation? Should I give him something back for christmas? ( My family doesn't celebrate christmas and we don't really give each other things.)
