hes 15 and lately hes been acting very diffrent. he used to wear baggy/hiphop type clothes but now he wears tight fittining clothes, he always seems sad, hes grades r going down and ive walked in on him making out with this other boy. but he claims tht he isnt gay/bi even when told him tht it was ok.
Is my son being emo and is this somthing tht i should be worried about?

Emo is a huge cry for attention, and in a sense a way of acting out against authority. IT'S A FAD. nothing more. Like rockstars in the eighties wore pink spandex, they wear horridly tight jeans. if your son was bi, emo has nothing to do with it. Maybe if you talked to him about it, he'd open up if he was wearing hip hop stuff last week and is now wearing "Emo apparel" then maybe he is just trying out and trying to find himself and the crowd he belongs with. there's nothing to worry about. it's just a thing he's going though. being emo is nothing to worry about unless he starts cutting his wrists. other than that. he will probably start wearing eye liner and i see he has the tight jeans down. he will probably dye his hair black (if it isn't already). if you want to see what other emo people look like go to google images and put in pete wentz, ryan ross,or brendon urie. they are "emo" making out with other people of the same sex is like a thing that only emo and punk people understand it is kind of hard to explain. he still likes girls and still dates them. don't worry him being sad is because he just doesn't want to show his real emotions. as for his grades going down maybe you need to talk to him about that. don't be so scared of emo people and think something is wrong with them. i'm "emo/punk" and it really is just about how you dress and the music you listen to. i am a striaght a student and vollenter at a homeless shelter. i'm not a bad person at all. just let him continue discovering who he wants to be. thats all it is. he's trying to find himself.

There is a video clip on youtube that pretty much sums up exactly what emo is. Go to youtube and in the searchbox type in the word emo. the video is by Belarius. That ought to enlighten you.

I think Emo's are emotional music lovers and are sort of "despressing".
They wear black (most popular is skinny leg, tight black jeans).
Think of Green Day or other Emo rock bands.
Black hair and piercings are included too.
Think of gothic, but mixed with some punk.
Emo's don't give a damn what people think of them, like to be different and noticed.

Emo means emotional/Depressed. Most emos dress gothic/punkish and some of them preform acts of self mutaltion (self inflected acts of pain such as cuts, burns, etc).
Check him for scars/cuts. Spend time with him. Get to know him more and find out whats wrong. I use to be emo, so I'd recommend listening to my advice.

unless he starts cutting there is nothing to worry about really its just a style. Oh and great job on not being angary about him making out with that other dude if you would have freaked out I'm sure he would have never trusted you ever ever again.
