I am 38 years old but I can tell you when I was a teenager, I could not stand my mom; I mean she had rules, she corrected me when I was bad, she wanted me to go to school ,she was picky about who I hung out with and most of all she was ALWAYS in my business! What I did not understand then was that she did these things because she LOVED me, she wanted to see me succeed and not get involved with drugs or crime. I did not realize these things until I had a child of my own, so when you think that you hate your Mom (unless she is beating the S**T out of you) just ask your self what would I do if this was my child and they were doing the things that I am? How would I handle them? Is she really being that unreasonable? Or just go to her and ask her Mom what did I do that was so wrong? Why won't you let me hang out with them? Why do I have to check in?

Wow judging from your last question about mothers, I would say that you are one ungrateful brat. I hope you remember this when the day comes that you don't have a mother anymore.
Report me if you want, but why not go a step further and show you mother this question and your last and watch the look on her face.

physiologicly speaking she is always right. see teens think with the imibula wich doesnt think of consequences at all, as you mature you move this thought process to the frontal lobe where you think about what could happen if you did this action.
your parents think that way
and no, i love my momma, I think she is one of the bravest most incredible people I have had the pleasure of knowing and being related too, and I'm not even close to kidding. while I get mad at her a lot, i only get mad cause she is right and I don't want her to be LOL

I love my mother very much. Sometimes she can be crabby or seem to exaggerate on issues, but all in all, she's the only mother I'm ever going to have, and I wouldn't trade her for the world.

mothers take away and dont allow you to do things because they care so much for you and dont' want to see you hurt or in trouble with the law.. i know it sooooo sucks that they do things like that, but they are doing it for you.. i think parents biggest mistake is telling their kids no don't do that, they should say something like you shouldn't do it because (whatever reason) and let you know why.. but yeah they dont they just make you feel like a 2 year old.. be happy you have parents who care and want the best for you, most kids have parents who dont care or just left them behind... good luck and best wishes!

I love my mum so much! Whatever she did to us she's still our mother. Why don't you think about what she's sacrificed nearly her life for giving your birth? You won't hate her! If she ruins your life it's means that she worried about you, afraid that you'll chose the wrong way. But if she's really, really, really, ruins your life, you should tell her how you feel instead of hating her! Good Luck!

i do think my mom is overly stick and a bit of a health, school, do everything right nut, but i like her anyway. she is someone i can talk to and i know she always has my best interests i mind. and i think i don't give her enough credit when i'm around my friends. but she is controlling, expects a bit much and is too fond of giving people, including my friends, lectures
