i REALLY hate mine- i wish i didnt have one....i can't stand him and never will ..even when im older..

I was my dad's scape goat. It seemed I could never to anything right and he only picked on me out of 5 girls (my sisters will tell you the same thing). I was miserable growing up, but I never did hate or despise him. I discovered that he had been mentally abused himself. He didn't really know how not to be that way. I don't even think he realized what he did. My sister's felt bad for me but they were afraid he would turn on one of them. Sure enough, when I married and left home, one of my other sister's became the scape goat. You know what, she doesn't despise or hate him either. We realize that he was doing the best he knew how to do to raise us right and we loved him in spite of it.

Oh... I do! I do! But, I'm 24 and have had to deal with a lot of his sh*t since he left 7 years ago. I've realized that he's totally not the person that I idolized growing up.

how can u hate ur dad has he done anything so bad to u .. how old ru anyway what do u do i bet its one of those teenage tantrum ull need him the most in ur life . who does all the shopping for u who provides u money for what u want . he takes care or u right what is ur prob tell him clearly and talk it over

my died in 91....and even though he and my mother were not together and he never really did anything for me and my mom talked bad about him to me..............i still loved him

i REALLY hate mine too, he was a achol addict and he was and abuser, and he left me so i dont even associate with him any more.
