She is in a wheelchair and use a walker in the house to get around.She is 83 years old and my problem is we are trying to adopt anther child.we have 2 children now 7 and 12 years of age .We are about to get a sibling group.My mother totaly do not want us to have more children.She do not like noise and kids running about.she is used to quite.I love kids and wait to go ahead with the adoption but see said she would move out but see is ill and has no one to look after her and I love her and wants her to stay.I also want to adopt.what should I do?

Have you told those you Love that you Love them recently?
sometimes we wait to late to go see those we care about or call them on the phone just to say Hi or I love you you never know when a loved one will be snatched from you. My 28 year old daughter was murdered 11 months ago and one of the things that I hold in my heart is that even though we sure had our ups and downs the day she died I'd decided to give her an early Christmas gift a new winter coat I was mad at her on Monday as we were arguing about her BF and on Tuesday i decided to go see her and give her the coat she loved it kissed me said I love you and 8 1/2 hours later her BF killed her If I hadn't decided to go see her and the last words we'd had would have been in anger I would not have been able to survive this if you love someone tell them today call your parents, your kids, your grandparents, your friends, whoever don't wait until it may be too late God Bless You All

I'll try to summarize best I can:

I was raised by a single mother, after she broke it off with my father (I was about 3 years old). He was irresponsible, careless, and abusive (I witnessed abuse firsthand), and an all but pathological liar. Between the age of 5 and today (I am now 21), I have seen him 4 times, and received just as few pieces of communication. When I was 13, I wrote to him, telling him that I was finished, didn't trust him, and didn't want him to try to contact me in the future (even though he hadn't in 4 years at that point). The last time I saw him was three years ago when I went to his father's funeral. It was a tense meeting, many a tear shed. I made it clear that I wanted nothing to do with him, that he had lost any and all trust I'd ever afforded him. He apologized, wanted us to try again, etc. I refused, told him he had to earn any such relationship. He called a month later, and that was it. Now... (see below)

My mom is 50, divorced 16 years ago and has only had one boyfriend since then. She has only been on 5 dates in the past 10 years and none of the men called her again.

A week ago she met this guy and calls him her "boyfriend." She even had me and my wife meet him last night. My mom already cut her hours at work so she has more time to spend with her boyfriend since he works part time. She even invited herself to all his events: poker night, monday night football, etc.

He seems nice enough, but he has never been married, had children or lived with a woman. He is VERY set in his ways, and just seeing them together I could see my mom was trying to change his routine and he didn't seem comfortable with any change.

She is having him meet the family at Thanksgiving too! My wife even thinks this is way fast and we don't think she has the best judgement when it comes to men.

What do you think about this?

to low income families, I have 3 kids, we cannot afford to buy them toys, since I am out of work and my husband is the only one working. Please if you know any information let me know, their phone number or name of the organisation, I live in Los angeles Ca.

My 23 year old daughter is a mess. She has three children, ages 5, 22 months, and 7 months. One father for the first two, and a different father for the last one. She does not have custody of the two older boys due to some trouble she got into with the new boyfriend, daddy of #3,who is now incarcerated. Daddy of #1 and #2 keeps them.

My daughter cannot drive because she lost her license. She does not keep a job, being half supported by the boyfriend's great-great-grandmother. I have been told she has a disorder called "oppositional defiant".

We live in the same town. She calls me almost every day needing something. Be it money, for me to take her some where, for me to watch one of the children, etc.

I have been told she will go through life using people up until they have had enough, then she will move on the the next. My problem is, being her mother, I am guilt ridden when I refuse her requests. Then I sit and worry about the children. Advice would be appreciated.

i got out of treatment came to live with my bio-mom and her husband which was two weeks before i turned 18
my mom was out and her husband was there and i felt safe around him and i used to cut due to past sexual abuse that spanned everywhere i was growing up and he grabbed me to him and shoved he tougue down my throat, i cut myself called a suicide hotline went to an er where my mom came in angry at me and i said nothing when she asked my why. i ran away she told me if i leave i am not coming back.

it happenz this way...i live with my uncle n aunt..whenever i talk about something my uncle starts arguing n gives out his opnion on whatever i say and we keep arguing until it turns out to be he insults me or i say something that he gets upset abt it...its really upseting me now...i want to have some advise how to get away frm this kind of situation or to know why is my uncle reacting this way Thanku

I mean, where did these nasty little creatures come from? They spend all day whacking each other or tattling on each other, demanding food and being rude and watching assinine cartoons. Maybe there was a mix up at the hospital - they dont' like anything I like and I dont' like anything they like.

I'd love to run away....
