I don't think there is a 'normal age' anymore.

Generally kids SHOULD stay with thier parents until thier education is finished, and after they've had a couple solid years 'labour' under thier belt.

More and more adults are living with thier parents until they are simply not 'young' adults anymore. Provided both parties are comfortable with this, go for it. But usually kids start feeling eager to spread thier wings, and parents start feeling a little cramped after awhile.

Bottom line: when you are ready.

It used to be 18 but it seems these days people are not in hurry to move out, they like not having responsibilities or the work. What they dont understand though is why they still have to follow parental rules.

It really depends, if you are attending college full time and are doing well, then I think it is okay to still live with your parents, as long as you respect their rules. I think if you are just starting out it is okay. IF you are a drug addict, or working part time and partying full time, then no. That kind of person should move on.
