I mean, where did these nasty little creatures come from? They spend all day whacking each other or tattling on each other, demanding food and being rude and watching assinine cartoons. Maybe there was a mix up at the hospital - they dont' like anything I like and I dont' like anything they like.
I'd love to run away....

The personality of everyone is decided by two major factors, society/enviroment and their parents. BUT when they are under the age of 3, the parents are the ones that influence them the most. Manners etc all come from parents.
If they demand food well you should give it to them at the right times, 3 meals a day and decent ones.
If they are watching things you don't want them to watch then tell the to stop. They don't listen? Don't give up cause if you do they win and they know they win meaning they'll do it agian.
So if you don't like your kids, you have no one to blame other than yourself.

Really, though, try this: get them up, have them dress, brush teeth, eat breakfast, and then sit them in their chairs at the kitchen table. Anyone that smacks or whines or tattles, sits there. Have them request a specific activity: "Can I watch a movie?" as long as they can do it properly, fine. Otherwise, you end up in a chair in the kitchen. Where you can monitor them.
If you really want to mess with them tell them they can't get up unless they do a chore. Then tell them they have to come right back. And sit. The only way they can get up is to do a chore. And make them sing while they're at the table, too.....Oh, yes.....I messed with mine.......

They are not your kids but aliens in disguise! Head for the hills! Just wait until they are older and you wonder why you wasted your time with having them in the first place!

Your not alone, venting is a good thing.Someday days when my husband gets home I tell him it is his turn. And weekends they are his children. I take care of them all week
