I have a sister who's 4 yrs older than me....sometimes we get along just fine. Other times I realise that we have almost nothing in common and that really puts me in an uncomfortable situation with her...sometimes I even start an argument. Both of us have different characters but don't they say sisters should stick together? I'm afraid when we get older we'll end up arguing more and more to the point were we won't speak to each other. She's my sister, she's always been there for me and i don't want us to fall apart....any suggestions?

I asked him many, many times to clean up and not bring drugs into my house. He continued. So I got him a room to rent and dropped him off with his stuff. Now the guy hes renting from is getting upset about his odor I believe. I feel I have already given him too many chances and there is nothing else left that I can do. My sister is mad at me about it. I have 3 small kids and don't want him here again. What should I do? Was I wrong to make him leave? Should I feel bad and let him back in? I don't want to be a part of him anymore because he does not take care of himself.

i know she is not gonna like it and i feel like i'm disrespecting her for it because it make it seem like i reject black women in favor of the white women. but thats not true. but the prob is that black girls always diss me and the white girls never diss me, so thats why my GF is white.

should I tell my moms? My GF wonna meet her.

I have an upcoming hearing regarding my 3 young children, after a long (almost 2 year) battle with my alcoholic ex-husband, we are moving forward with termination his parental rights. After SO many hearings we have reached the end of the road with this and even though we have been to court too many times to count I am wondering what the termination hearing will be like, other than all the testimony I have to give as to why he is an unfit father etc. What will the cross examination be like? If you have been through this before please let me know what I might expect. Thanks!

PS I realize this is a very short explanation for a very long drawn out issue....there are way too many details to put out here.

one of by guy friends is my age 16 nearly 17 and he's being going out with my 14 year old sister (she was 13 last month) since the end of Summer. I wasn't overly happy about the relationship but neither are ones to do as their told so i just kept out of it. Yesterday at school I heard him talking with his mates and talking about how good my sister is in bed. I was horrified and confronted him immediatly hoping that he'd tell me it was all for show for his mates but he admitted that they had first slept together on her birthday. I've spoken to my sister and she's admitted it but begged me not to tell our parents. I'm really worried about this as I know what my friend is like, he's been with a lot of girls and usually dumps them after he's had enough. Also theres so much trouble she can get into. What should I do?

I come from a family of 5 (3 brothers & 1 sister) & am 2nd to the oldest; recently my brother died in a car accident; he was only 21 (RIP). My parents are divorced, my mother can't stand my father & won't talk to him @ all. My brother owned his own home & has things that're worth $$$; my parents are fighting over the house not wanting either to "get it" but want it for us kids. I dont want 2 sell the house; my brother put his blood, sweat & tears into that house but @ the same time no 1 wants to live in it (except me). I want 2 preserve my brother's house & would like 2 live there, but am scared. It's a new area, what if my husband & I can't find work, what if it's a bad neighborhood? I live in NV & my brother lived in CA; I'm lost on what to do. My aunts (to add to the issue) helping my dad w/a lawyer & I'm afraid she's trying to persuay my dad 2 sign the house 2 her but am not completely sure of it. My other brothers & sister are nonconfrontational & I don't think theyd fight for it.

ok, so my brother is a big problem.when we were younger, he would always pick fights with me and treat me like a servant, litterally. now that he's turned 18, he acts like he's the man of the house. he treats my mother like s**t and says he doesnt care about her. he works at freaking mcdonalds, and doesnt even give her money to help pay the rent, the internet, phone, etc, and he abuses all of this (ie: always online, talks on the phone a lot, never turns off a light when not in use, leaves the computer on for the entire night) and it's really bothering me. i dont get it. what is wrong with him? i dont know what to do. he always eats all the food, and my mother works for days in a row, so it's not like she can just buy groceries every 3 days. while im at school, he goes into my mother and my bedrooms and leaves garbage on the night table. he never cleans. It's like hes a baby that i have to babysit, and HE'S OLDER! i cant bring up the situation because he gets angry and hits me. help!?

She moved, not us. My family is here. Children, grand child, and my recently widowed mom. She called and asked us to travel over 8 hours to see her new home. Hubby says no. he doesn't want to leave my mom especially.

away from the area also. I am happy where I live now. After I moved in January, I went back home for the first time in May. I was happy to see my friends (these are all girls I've been friends with for about 30 years), but that was all I was happy to see. I lived in a big city on the east coast and now I live in a little farm town (population 350). Huge difference. When I went home, I hated it. I couldn't stand the noise, the smell, the rudeness, traffic, etc. I felt like I had a 24-hour panic attack, I wanted to go back, to what I now call home, so bad. Now, my girlfriends are asking me when am I coming "home" to visit. I'm scared to death to go back because of how I felt last time. I'm not ready to go back for another visit yet. What do I tell them? I fear they won't understand because they've never moved away or had family members move from home. What do I tell them or how do I help them to understand what's in my head, without them thinking it's them?

It was her birthday recently and the whole family was here. For a gift I wrapped a box of condoms XXL and a note that said "tell him to put in his fist since him alone might not do the trick for you". It was funny, you should have seen her face and everyones face. Now she hates me.

I'm freakin' mad cuz my mom and dad both each said they didn't say something. Like, my dad promised to teach me how to drive a stick shift and says he never said that and my mom promised I could go with her next time she went to Ga, my old town and now she says she never said that. What's up with this!!!

My sisters played a prank at me in school and I was embarrased, so I decided to play a prank on them. I went into each of their rooms and stole a pair of dirty panties. When I got to school I asked to go to the bathroom before the bell rang, and I hung the panties in the bulletin board with a picture of them and a note that said, do not date or you'll catch something. You should have seen their faces, it was funny, but why are they mad at me, they started it.

Months ago my mother revealed to me a family secret, which only i never knew about...it was of my father having other 2 children out there and being still officially married to this other women- people he abandoned years and years ago. At the time i was 15 and im only 16 now...it slipt out today that i had told my best friend this story, because it is something which schocked me at the time even though im not that close to my dad...my mum lost her mind and became very angry, saying that what is said in the family should have stayed there...i trust my best friend and that is why i told her...i find it hard to talk about these things with my family, because im a shy person and prefer to talk to my friends...I'm just wondering, am i in the wrong or is my mother right?
