You can try his Social Security number in the Social Security Death Index. This index is very helpful. It lists the persons name, date of birth, date of death, name of State the SSN was issued in, and the place of last benefit. It is free to search the SSDI. Here is the link:

You do not have to enter all of the fields to get a result. I would enter the Social Security number with no dashes. If no results are found, then chances are good that he is still alive. Am going throw the same thing.What you can do for wright know is go on My Space.com they will help you if they can.don't give out the SS# to anybody OK.Then Try and make a profile to ex plane what he look like.I have almost a handle full looking for my brother on My space.com.If everybody gets together we can find him.My brother name is Kenneth Ray Ogger he is 37 years old.He has been gone for a while.My e-mail is ogger72@yahoo.com we can pull this thing together.good luck have a nice day.

Try asking your parents. I had to ask my mom for ideas on how to search for my dad and I eventually found him.
