What can we do to allow her father to let her live with me? She lives in the state of Florida and I have been here with her for the past three months but I am getting ready to go back to Missouri and she wants to live with me now and not her father.

am three months pregnant and been with my partner for over four years. we couldnt afford our flat so six months ago decided to move in with his parents. his mother is needy and guilts people into doing things for her. me and her had a very heated argument where some pretty bad stuff was said and i left. partner said he would too but then after speaking with his mum changed his mind and stayed. i get to see him maybe an hour a day because his mother pulls on the reins and drags him back.i am getting really stressed to the point where i am thinking i would be better off with out him as he will always go running back to his mum.i have tryed talking to him. we are going on holiday in a week and i am worried that he wont go if his mum puts pressure on him. we were supposed to look at a house today but he had to go early cause his mum was stressed. help. i am going crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, My b/f and I have been together for 7 years and he has a 10 year old son from a previous relationship. When the son comes to stay with us(it's suppose to be everysecond weekend that's it)he is so rude and ignorant. We have both tried to talk to him and disapline him but nothing seems to work. He is rude not only to us but to all adults. He talks back and steals others kids toys and is so greedy. We really need some help or advice. We are just about ready to give up. His mother spoils him and well we don't have that much money and when she comes around which is always she is always asking us for a lot of money to buy this and she doesn't ask she tells. We have explained this all to her and she said that the boy can do whatever he wants and doesn't have to listen to us. This is not fair on us. We don't deserve to be treated like this expecially from a 10yr old and in our own home. What do I do?

My son is 19 and is living at home and going to college. Meanwhile every friend he has (including his girlfriend) seem to be constantly at my house. I'd like to ask my son to move out but my husband doesn't support this. I feel like I don't have control over my own home anymore. Any ideas? He works and goes to school and I really want him to succeed but I'm extremely unhappy with the current situation.

I have a beautiful step-daughter whom I deeply love and cherish. I understand her standoffishness(forgive the fake word) because she's only spent one summer and a few holidays with me in her life. She spends the school year with her mother and step-father 10 hours away. But she'll be here for her birthday and I want to get her something perfect. She will be eight. I don't want to have to ask her mother for a variety of reasons and as her innocent voice reminds me "dad is clueless." I know she's a disney kid, high school musical, cheetah girls, ect, but I really want to get her something special that would help bridge the gap between our personal relationship. I love kids, I get them, don't get me wrong. I'm actually a primary school teacher myself. I'm just looking for a little extra help this time. Any ideas?

My boss is also my father in law and sometimes he gets into these moods where he acts like I have committed a crime and hates me. He yells cusses and second guesses my every move. I have worked for him for 10 years and he can be so demeaning. I have a tendency to get angry and sull up, but don't ever say anything to him because he is kinda scary. Any suggestions?

OK. I live with my biological father and my stepmother. My dad is really never home because of the fact that he is a truck driver. Ok. In school, if you get advanced and proficient on the Benchmark test you go on a trip. I went this year and last year to Jilllian's in Memphis. Some of you might know that is inside of a mall and they let us walk around. Ok. So last year she gave me no money, then brought me two dollars to the school when I complained. Then this year she only gave me nine dollars. OK. My stepmom's daughter went to the Mid South Fair. She got thirty dollars. And on another occasion she went to a Grizzlies game and got another thirty dollars but when I went to the Orpheum Theater I only got ten dollars. Tonight my stepsister is going to the Orpheum Theater for the Tyler Perry show and her mom already gave her the money, 35 dollars. So what does that look like to you? I told my dad last year and they got to arguing, so now I don't want to let it slide, so what should I do?
